I made this in the medium size and I absolutely love it. Easy to make and Minki Kim makes bag, pouch, tote making an absolute delight. I’m hooked. I can’t stop making bags now. I use a regular 1/4'' foot that comes with Janome M7. You can try no.9 needle and set the stitch length a bit wide (3.0mm) for thick layers. walking foot might help as well if you have one.
