Hi Kalyn, I'm not sure if you will ever read this comment and I usually only use youtube to watch old tennis clips, so I'm a little out of my element here. But I just came across another youtuber's very well made documentary, analyzing and giving background information on everything that happened with your koze brand, how it was basically stolen from you and how you handled it all (which was the most impressive and heart-breaking part to me). When I saw you authentically summarizing what happened and how you very well could sue that thief and be compensated for your rebranding expenses, and yet you still chose to wash your hands clean from the situation because you don't want to have any of that energy on you, I couldn't help but feel "proud" of you and inspired by you. Many people preach to be the bigger person and that not all money is good money, etc. But here you are, actually backing these words up, living by your own principles and standing for your convictions. Unfortunately, my English is not good enough to express how extremely impressive and admirable and classy I find you. If I were in your situation, I would have probably been angrier or more disappointed and maybe even petty and out for revenge. I would have wanted to confront this malicious thief and I would have wanted justice. I wish one day, I can be as good a person as you are. For you to have such steadfast morals and such a clear vision of who you are and how you want to live your life with your head held high, says so much about your character. If karma exists, I am very sure, that only good things will come to you. You deserve the best because your heart is pure. And though it may not be much, you just gained one more subscriber in me. (I hope this was not too incoherent)

when you talked about insecurity in your job and the way the digital world is progressing, i could understand that so well. but i just wanted to say that you offer the only place on the internet where i feel 100% welcome, fully accepted, fully at peace, the only place that is slow and heartfelt and loving and restful enough for my brain to really shut down when consuming digital entertainment. i value this space you have created infinitely, as well as the community that has gathered here. i find it to be so utterly superior to fast-paced tiktoks or diffusive, negative heaps of people gathering just for one video. this is a community. the people here have taught me things, the people here have comforted me. i know i have found like-minded people here. just for the sake of that, i am so incredibly grateful to have found you. but it’s not by chance that you have gathered such a beautiful and loving community, it is because you are and you radiate those things! of course, i wish you well on whatever journey you impart on, but i am selfishly hoping you will stick around a little (or a lot!) longer. this is my digital happy place, my restful bubble.

I've been watching Kayln since my early twenties when I was trying to figure out what adulthood was "supposed" to look like. Kayln's videos helped and encouraged me to define that for myself which I am forever grateful for. Though her content doesn't align with my current stage in life as much anymore, I love seeing all of the success she's having and I appreciate that her content continues to be general enough that I can still take things from it (plus the sound of her voice in the background continues to be reassuring lol). Thanks to Kayln for sticking with content creation despite all of the ups and downs. My life was simply made better having found her channel when I did.

On the insecurity of your job, I like the part where you said you just have to trust that things will work out, just like you had to trust that you would not be alone and find your person and start a family. I wish you all the best 🌠on all and any paths you choose for yourself. And i'm grateful you still choose to share with us despite the uncertainty you feel. Enjoy your mat leave💞

Pregnancy depression is a thing, pay close attention and make sure Ryan pays close attention to how you’re feeling postpartum ❤ I so understand what you mean about not feeling like you’ve developed a connection with your baby like you did during your first pregnancy. I felt the same. I had a really busy life during my second pregnancy, started a new job halfway through and everything. When it was all done, I felt like I’d missed the pregnancy because work and raising a toddler took priority throughout. But that did not hinder my connection to my baby in the least and it’ll be the same for you.

As a fellow mother who experienced postpartum depression/anxiety - trust your intuition ❤ You are the best expert on yourself. Tell your support system! Lady, that does not sound like “middle child syndrome,” it sounds like awareness of how you were impacted as a child by your family of origin and desiring to not pass on generational trauma. That is not being a middle child, it sounds like wise mind and flexible mind (DBT + RODBT), and that you want the best for yourself and family ❤ You are not alone my dear ❤

Can you do a video on how much social media has changed. It makes me sooooo sad and I talk about it with my friends all the time about how the internet used to be so fun and creative and connecting and now everything is clickbait. I don't trust many creators on youtube besides of the ones I've been following for the past 10 years... would love a whole video on this topic.i would also like to say I think the opposite of you I think the internet needs you and people like you more than ever.thank you for always being authentic caring thoughtful and inspiring.

I am quite a bit older than you are, 44 to be precise. I can't believe you even have job insecurities, I have been watching you for so long. And I have always been looking up to you in every phase of your life. For being who you are. For creating this beautiful, amazing and heart warming, authentic and deep content and sharing parts of your life with us. I wish I knew what my reason for being here is, I left a job after ten years due to burnout and depression. Now I am not sure what the future will bring and that frightens me a lot. I see you have so much joy for the doula certification and every woman would be glad to have you as a doula, someone so respectful and loving and sensitive!

The second baby is so different than the first, especially in the way that life feels more rushed. I can understand how that would be hard, but I assure you, the 2nd integrates into life much more easily and it's beautiful in a different way. It's not the same. It's its whole own world, and it's just as much, if not more, beautiful. 💜 You're an amazing mom. Take care of yourself. 💜

Hey Kalyn, I felt so sad hearing you say that you feel like you don't belong to the internet anymore, because you don't feel yourself fitting to these trends and all. In my opinion, if anyone should be on the internet it's you. You are one of the few people left on the internet who live life like it is supposed to be. You are connected to yourself and to earth, and you show people that life can be something else than materialistic, that happiness does not come from such things. You truly are a light here and something else and if anyone should stay it should be you. In all my years on KZfaq you're the only consistent thing that I want to follow and hopefully you will stick around for years to come! You truly mean something to me and to a lot of other people

Not you mentioning "it won't be like this for long" and "you're gonna miss this" while I'm taking a break from helping my oldest sort clothes for middle school. I swear I was folding toddler clothes just yesterday. The household background noise on my break is video games and phone calls with friends instead of building blocks and the baby crying after a nap. On one hand, it's great that I've got time to be more myself than just mom these days, but man. That went too fast.

With regards to having kids in a messed up world…I struggled with this for a long time but what I realised is that in the big picture my children will always face immense difficulties because life, regardless of climate change or not, is difficult. In 200 years not me or my children will be around anymore and the point of life wasn’t to have no problems, it’s imo to fully realise your spiritual essence through being human. And it’s to hopefully financially and emotionally equip my children with finding happiness regardless and they might even make a positive difference just as I am trying to. I believe that people who really want kids are the ones who will provide that loving space for their kids so if life picked you to have kids then I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having them.

On investing, a really great book that makes it easy is “I Will Teach You to be Rich” the name makes it feel scammy, but it’s actually a really compassionate book that focuses on building a money foundation for “your rich life” (which looks different for everyone and that’s a core tenet of the book)

This is the first of your videos I've seen. I spent my life certain that I'd foster or adopt. The more I learn about those systems, the more certain I've been that I should birth a child as part of my family, and THEN help kids and their families heal& whether or not they live with me permanently. So we're planning to start trying right after our September wedding this year. I'm already taking prenatals. But this week, I've really really felt guilty and scared about bringing more people into this world. And I'm still scared. But I'm so glad to have heard this video right when I need it.

Hi Kalyn, I admire your vulnerability and how connected you are to your emotions as well as accepting of them. Being a content creator can be extremely challenging even for a very secure person to start with. I think it’s ok to feel insecure, it’s inevitable. You’re doing great and I, for one, can say I will be deeply saddened if you do decide to quit creating videos. Statistics will never be able to represent what your creations mean to a lot of us. With love, Lisa

I’m a yoga teacher who is also becoming a doula for the same reason! I’m currently pregnant with my first (38 weeks) and I very much feel that support is so needed for women. Also- I’m not great with investing either, but my husband is. He said a great way to start investing/diversifying is by buying metals (like silver). That way all your money isn’t just in savings. And it’s very simple, try to buy when the value is low and sell when it’s high, or just hold because it’s always valuable 🙂

If you’re interested in investing but don’t have the time to learn how to do in on your own right now, you could open a portfolio with a financial advisor! They take a small cut because they do all the work, but it’s a way to get your foot in the door with very minimal effort on your end, and start seeing some growth. You can always play around with the portfolio down the road if you find you do have more time and want to be more involved. Just a thought!

So i'm a little stressed but it makes me feel better that baby wont need a room until their a few months at least :) We also really love our home and we just want our home to function better and be more practical we don't necessarily need more room we just need our home to be more functional and the same thing for us our home was just patch worked together that we're fixing and moving and chasing now lol

Why were you doing kitchen reno?? It looked fine, or the pluming was messed up?
@KalynsCoffeeTalk
@KalynsCoffeeTalk Ай бұрын
It looked fine, yes, but the plumbing/holes in the concrete floor which led to a terrible mouse problem, broken appliances and doors falling off the cabinets (they were cheap cabinets that weren't taken well care of by previous owner) along with floor damage all throughout the house is why! We haven't had a working oven since October, and our fridge went out 2 months ago. Half the cupboards I had permanently closed shut because no matter what we tried, mice would always get in through the holes in the plumbing and floors, which can only be fixed/sealed by taking out the cabinets. The previous owner had a large dog that we think may have been left alone for long periods of time, as there is urine damage in many different pockets of the house that caused the wood flooring to buckle and rise. This is just the kitchen... basically all the renovations we have done have come from necessity (our upstairs bathroom, no storage in the bedroom, fixing problems that weren't to code like our stairs and railing, and things you don't see like a new boiler, new AC's, having to seal the foundation of the house that was left bare, adding in a ceiling fan for better air circulation, fix windows etc.) -- so while fixing these issues we are also changing up the style and making it our own, which is easier to do for someone like Ryan since this is his field of work so we save a lot on labour costs doing it ourselves.
