I played this game after some of you recommended it. I really enjoyed what the demo had to show! Little did I know the depth Heartbound had. At the behest of some viewers, I went digging for Heart bound secrets easter eggs and references. Who knew there would be so many!?

A 50 minute video on secrets for a one hour demo? YUP!! Between the Heartbound Glowbringer and Darksider paths, as well as manipulating Curiosity and Fear, there are an insane number of ways you can affect this game. I play around with all of that to reveal all endings in Heartbound Demo There are secrets and more that are still undiscovered! Guess we'll have to wait on the full Heartbound release for those easter eggs.

I remember hearing about this game in 2017, and lately it's been kinda declining... like no one really knows it anymore. I'm very glad you made a video on this game, it deserves recognition!! This game is one of the few games that inspired me to start game development!!

Yeah, as much as I appreciate Mat and what he does, the way they handled presenting this game was a massive disservice. But I understand that it was done to engage the audience, I try to get people excited. If I remember correctly they apologized, and have worked since to better present new games in ways that stand on their own

When I first saw Cirsi's name, I actually thought of Circe, the Witch who'd lure men in with deception, and then use potions and magic to transform them into animals. I didn't realize it was an actual plant name. But seeing how everyone are animals, and the food they eat is affected by her alchemy, maybe her and her sister could be 'them'. We will see soon enough

Pretty sure the Jammed joke is also a reference to spaceballs. In it a radar gets "jammed" with a giant jar of raspberry jam.

I don't remember the exact scene, but in Homestuck one of the characters owns a microwave that is used to teleport items to his friend, and he eventually uses it to teleport his head. (His reason for doing this is a long story, like most things in Homestuck)

Kinda similar to seeing the bosses you've spared in Undertale. 24:42 That might be an Undertale reference too... a grey door that disappears after going through it... 42:14 Ok this one is definitely an Undertale reference.

Dude, The first time I learned about this game was when YuB played it, and I have kept track of all the updates ever since, I didn’t see many people play this game besides YuB, so I am so glad that this video was made :D

Yooo I remember Merg playing the demo! This game seems really cool, I love the battle system, and the story. I came wait for the game to be complete, hopefully it comes back into the limelight! :D It's gonna be weird to see secrets from a game I don't fully remember lol.

Glowbringer "it" is saying that seal will protect them from the item. Darksider are saying they don't know how use it power if the totems are switch

one of the ghost workers in the tower says the line "tower corp is out to get me but I feel alright" which is a reference to the lyric "everybody's out to get me but I feel alright" from the song "Stress" by "Jim's big ego" (Which was sadly deleted on spotify a few days ago :()

I've been thinking about this game recently! I love its mood and the potential for its story. The battle music's been stuck in my head too ever since hearing it years ago for the first time. Although, I could've sworn the office tower as fully out by now. I remember seeing the full version of the office tower chapter at one point on youtube. If that chapter is fully out, do you plan on covering it? Either way, I hope this game gets fully finished sometime soon!

To me, the shrines you read during the laser puzzle make out that the darksiders aren't actually evil, and the "them" it might be referring to is the glowbringers, who might have felt they didn't need the protection. Either way, it seems that neither side will be fully good or evil, or at least I hope.

It may feel like a bomb, but it's more just that the Deltarune stuff SUPER overperformed haha. I'm pretty darn happy where the view on this one came out! More would always be great. But I'm glad it wasn't totally ignored :)

there's a garanteed 6 routes with just the chapter choices, with your choices & hard mode we could be looking at 48 routes minimum, this is gonna be a big ass game

Not quite. He actually played Chapter 1 back when it came out. But since it's been so long he decided to replay it before going into Chapter 2.

Man i forgot all about this game i miss it. It was a great game from whats out. I hope it gets updated more in the future. But until then we all have to be patient. Game development is slow and takes time.

I heard rumors that either undertale or deltarune got a bit of inspiration from this game but idk its just rumors. But it would be cool if it was true.

well undertale came out in 2015, deltarune in 2018 and heartbound had an alpha version in 2016. Toby fox has also said that he had planed deltarune before even working on undertale, but i guess he could have still been inspired in some aspects
