Many of these ranchers run their livestock on public lands and pay almost nothing!! It costs the taxpayers much more to administer these programs than the fees provide. It's subsidized ranching, basically. But do the taxpayers get a break on beef? Not hardly! The other thing some do is kill the wildlife like wolves and other animals because they think they have the right! The American public prefers wildlife over cows and sheep! It’s just a matter of time. Climate change will likely make this worse in many areas. AFA fixing it, the real problem is 8 billion people. Greed is a side show. Track human numbers and co2 ppm. It’s a perfect fit, even if not PC.
