@@aryanchowdhury5823 No, the movie covers the spin-off manga about nagi which I have not read, I am completely caught up with the current blue lock manga though, which season 2 will continue to cover. As far as I'm aware, the nagi spinoff shows nagi and reo's backstory, as well as parts of bluelock from nagi's pov and i think some later arcs in the main manga also from nagi's pov? but i'm not certain on that

Shidou is a character I love to hate. His personality is worse than Barou's, imo and I just can't stand him, but I still have to admit he's better than Kunigami at this point in the story for sure

I hate the anime for making Reo says that line about Kunigami. In the manga, Reo stays silent because he’s ashamed to have been chosen and he feels he doesn’t deserve it. He considers Kunigami his friend! He would never say something like that

Imo they did it well enough. His facial expression and words dont seem to match at all, like he does feel bitter about it but is more so trying to convince himself that "it is what it is".

@@rygornspectre7142it absolutely does change his character if you are sensitive to nuance. to imply that he thought kunigami deserved to be eliminated is false, because he thought kunigami was an incredibly capable player who deserved to continue through bllk (made clear through the spin off and their SPOILERS: later interactions) kunigami and chigiri are the only positive relationships reo has in blue lock, and to remove those alters his character drastically.

Blue lock was airing along with the world cup 22 and Japan team ended up performing really well. Isagis direct shot was aired just before mbappe scored that insane volley vs argentina in the final . The anime exploded in popularity and manga scales have been sky high since then beating some of the best mangas . Waiting for S2 and the Nagi movie 🤞

The movie is about nagi and reos time in blue lock. How they meet, 1st selection and from what I heard the 2nd too. Currently in Japan theatres only but releases the 28th of June in America and maybe other countries

A great player in any sport knows he has to sometimes lift his teamates up (even when he knows he's a better player) and get them involved if you want to win games. You can't just take all the shots that guaranteed to lose. More often then not thats why you see more aggressive play in the 2nd half from the best, they spend the first getting everyone their touches.

The movie is called episode nagi and it basically goes through nagi’s backstory and this first season but from nagi’s point of view and the games we didn’t see such as nagi’s team vs barou’s team in the first selection it’ll definitely be a must watch and season 2 for the anime will come out October this year I’m pretty sure, and it’ll be a direct continuation of the series

If kaneshiro plans to release a movie just like the blue lock 0 you mentioned perhaps it would be 0-6 including the light novels of other characters already released ( nagi, bachira, reo, kunigami, hiori,Niko, chigiri, and rin) these are the non manga stories of those characters.

I don't know how much u watch sport anime, but for me who love and watch sports anime from the og like tsubasa, inazuma eleven, eyeshield 21, idaten jump, and other sport anime which is very based on friendship theme. It's so fresh for me find another sport anime with different twist like bluelock.

Season 2 will be out in Fall this year having the best arc in blue lock (U20 arc) and the movie is about nagi's journey before the whole blue lock program upto when he goes against isagi. (Tho was surprised, they didn't have rin in their top 3)

Slam Dunk is a really good option as a sports anime. Yes, it has an oldie look and the usual frame-recycling of that time. But I don't think you'll mind as a classic DB/DBZ fan,. Also, the games themselves are fire and its characters + story hold up amazingly. It's pretty timeless and definitely one of the GOATs. I hope you'll it gets add to a patreon poll eventuality. If you want to do another sports show the natural options would be either Kuroko no Basket (Though its mostly completely unrealistic) or Dia no Ace (Long running baseball anime. A great slow burn which is probably the most realistic as far as the sport it portrays - no special gimmick, just work and dedication - its a really good show and probably my favourite sports anime but it has like 200 episodes so its a commitment)

Awesome show. Quite the nice finale. Might be better with no sound tbh 😂 but still not bad. Like the depiction of the characters. Not just pure hearts. They feel the joy of destroying others on the field. I needed more people to say pause after saying theyll devour each other 😂 but really good show. Kuroko no basket has great hype too

Wait, I'm a manga reader but never saw the last few episodes of S1. I'm surprised with how they handled Kunigami's departure in the anime, not sure if I like it. In the manga, there is more to it and we get a bit more information, I feel like the anime could have needed this extra bit for the end of S1.

Also they made Reo being hateful toward Kunigami by adding some lines. I totally hate it since it has been said in the manga how Reo liked Kunigami and was grateful to be such a great guy

My love for blue lock is because of the philosphy yes every sport and even in alot moments in life you cant do it alone thats a given but its only the moments where you focus soley on yourself do you reach a higher level at whatever it is your doing
