Personally i think Coupe IS Tsubomi's Grandfather and that HE is evidence as to why romance between the humans and fairies is so complicated. I know i sound crazy...but hear me out. Let's imagine that fairies are semi immortal or can at least live ten to a hundred times the span of a human. This means that despite how young they are in their human they still outlived their friends and loved ones. As such Kaoruko probably had to get a death certificate made knowing that he wouldnt be able to grow old with her. And thus Coupe relinquished his human form unless it was for an emergency. As for how he can...you know...i feel it can only happen with humans so long as the fairy is in their human form. Thus their biology works a tad differently to when they are in fairy form. Also as a human his DNA wont be able to pass down his fairy gene through the family tree. Remember these "stuffed animals" are shape shifting beings, meaning they have no consistant biology. If we were to assume fairies are born from eggs than it means that their fairy form is completely random. This would explain why Pop and Candy and Aroma and Puff are siblings with different animal forms in their fairy form. It would also suggest that the Royal Queen from Smile is also a fairy and may have layed magic eggs that hatched into Pop and Candy. NOT ALL LOGIC HAS TO BE BASED JUST IN OUR REALITY. YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER HOW STUFF LIKE THIS WORKS FOR SHAPESHIFTING BEINGS WITH NO ONE REAL FORM! I also have a theory that Coupe is one of the very few implied male pretty cures being more like Milk, Siren, and Kirara by having a human forme blessed with the power of the pretty cure. The other implied male cure is Otokochi from suite pretty cure as he had wielded the healing chest during his battles against noise in his youth. And its been implied in multiple series that only pretty cure can wield pretty cure weapons

10:57 yeah glad I was able to realize that to and not be a dumbass who thought that Erika and Tsubomi's powers were just Cure Moonlight's split in half since Yuri said she wanted them to find her replacements..hahahahah yeah I actually thought that so when we did learn the truth I felt like an idiot. Anyway I loved this half especially for Itsuki (Best girl of this season fight me especially since I think she made for a great cure overall and even after her intro she was always great to see) and Yuri, especially how well built up to them becoming cures were by getting to know them instead of just making them cures once we first see them. As for the Filler, while you're idea works for Sasorine especially since it could use fans of the previous season knowledge of how Eas turned good especially given the similarities with the two being in a tiro villain and being the one female villain, I feel it is needed to established some other characters and give a breath from dealing with the plot episodes. I for one was happy we got these episodes as I was kinda getting overwhelmed with everything happening this season so any filer was appreciated and unfortunately Sasorine was the one who got hurt because of it both in the show and in the overall writing process.
