These lessons in #Proverbs are made with children and teenagers in mind (though adults can certainly learn from them as well!) and can serve as a school course.
Paul Washer is founder of the HeartCry Missionary Society. Visit heartcrymissionary.com for more information, updates, and resources!
HeartCry is a missionary society with one great and overriding passion: that God's Name be Great among the Nations (Malachi 1:11) and that the Lamb receive the full reward for His suffering (Revelation 7:9-10).

Many are those who fell because they thought themselves strong enough to dialogue with temptation, instead of fleeing from it. Lord, give us humility!

Regretfully me included recently. I totally hated that, so I decided before the LORD I would never again expose myself into those situations that make me sin.

I need to beware of the enticing, flattering tongue, and run from it! If I have the flattering tongue, enticing someone, Lord, rebuke me quickly, wash out my mouth with soap, and get me back on the right path.

I recently saw myself in a social situation in which I totally behaved like a nonbeliever. I totally hated that. I'm still feeling bad for that. I thought I could get myself into a situation like that and be different, but I was really wrong. I decided before the LORD I would never again go there. The thing that hurts me the most is that I want to please God and let people see Him in my life, but I failed so miserably that day. I guess that there are times when you just have to avoid things and situations that will (for sure or at least are likely) to make you sin. I was saved recently and I really desire to please God and obey Him, I really do. I have told Him several times: LORD I don't know why you saved me, being the way I am (a real mess) it makes no sense to me. But if doing so pleased you and gave honor and glory to your name, then that's how I want to live... to please you and to give honor and glory to your name. So it really hurts me when I don't live or act like this.

This message came on time. I married an unrepentant man due to my idolatry to feel loved/be married at any cost. Our marriage is plagued by “internet temptations” on his end. I hurt day and night due to his betrayal. I am paying the price now for rejection of Gods wisdom. While I’m broken, I thank God every day for bringing what was done in the dark to light. For teaching me how to forgive my husband despite my hurt. To pray for his salvation unselfishly.

As an adult new believer im loving your teaching im finding that with the preachers i listen to the yelling turns my brain off after awhile, its ok every now and then for a sermon but not for studying but your calm and considered approach here is very helpful for my learning. The other feed back i have is when you look down i loose your voice a fare bit maybe the mice is to far away and with the music at the end i literally can not hear the prayer sadly. Just letting you know. I have an older brother in Christ that i will share these studies with but i know he will have to same hearing issues. God bless you and you family and ministry Paul. ✝️🙏

The Bible is Very Badly Written. We Know from History and Across the World that People Cannot Even Agree what it Says or Means. For about a Millennium People Interpreted it Literally and Concluded it Supported Slavery and after that Decided there was a Different Interpretation and it Didn’t Really. Any God Worth Their Name Would Have the Power to Write a Book that Everyone Could Understand. Any God With Any Sense Would Realize that Human Beings Were of Finite Mental Capacity and if They Really Did Want to Write a Message for all Mankind Would Write a Book that Everyone Would Recognize as the Word of God and Understand. It Makes No Sense at all for God to Write a Book Which in Practice has the Net Effect of Confusing Everybody About Something as Basic as Whether “SLAVERY” is OK. If The Bible is Intended as Moral Guidance it is Demonstrably and Indisputably Badly Written and So Not Plausible as the Word of Any God Worthy the Title. The Bible is What it Appears to Be. It’s an Eclectic Collection of Writings and Stories Mixing Historical Fact with Supernatural Fiction Written Over a Thousand Years Ago by People Who Weren’t Even the Most Enlightened People of Their Time and By Modern Standards were Spectacularly Ignorant. “No amount of Evidence will Ever Persuade an Ignorant Person.”

@@josselogam Your Trying to Use Thousands (1900 to 3400) of Years Old Story Books to Prove Things Today... At the Time of The Writings They Didn't Even Know What the Moon, Sun, (As Planets & Solar and Lunar Eclipses) Thunder &Lighting, Earthquakes, Weather (Tornado's / Tsunami's / Hurricanes) Infections, Germs and Mental Illness Was... They Thought it Had Something to do With God or Gods... And The People That Wrote The Story's Where Very Ancient Societies and Spectacularly Ignorant... (Sacrificing Animals and Humans and Doing Other Ignorant Things to Please a God or Gods) I Find it Hard to Believe That You Support The Story's and You Don't Understand The Reality of Evidence and Proof... “No amount of Evidence will Ever Persuade an Idiot.”

@@josselogam Being Educated often Means Having a Critical Mindset. Simply Put, You Don’t Take Things For Granted and You Don’t Believe Stuff Just Because an Authority Figure or Book Says So. That Transfers to the Bible and Gods as Well: “It Says So in the Bible” Isn’t Automatically True for Someone with a Critical Mindset, and Things are not Necessarily Believable Just Because a Pastor Says It. The problem is that in Particular Islam and Christianity are Authoritative Religions. In Christianity, the Only Path to Heaven is to Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and in Islam, You Submit to Allah as Muhammad Revealed Through the Qur’an - The Word “Islam” Even Means “Submission”. The Natural Response From the Educated Critical Mind is, of Course, “Why?” And “Because Muhammad/Jesus/God/the Bible/the Qur’an Says So” Is Not a Valid Answer. Because We Had the Luxury of an Education That Afford us The Skills to Think Critically, Rationally, and Reasonably. This, in Turn, Allowed us to Objectively Read the Bible, Koran, Dhammapada, Vedas, and Other Scriptures and Holy Books. When that Happens We Often Reject the Claim That the Characters Found Within Being Educated Often Means Having a Critical Mindset. This, in Turn, Allowed us to Objectively Read the Bible, Koran, Dhammapada, Vedas, and Other Scriptures and Holy Books. When that Happens We Often Reject the Claim that the Characters Found Within Exist in Reality. If So Many Highly Educated People Don’t Believe in God… Maybe It Is Because They Know Something You Don’t, It’s Because, Due to Their High Intelligence and Education, They Have Realized That All Gods Are Imaginary. Educated People Tend to Believe in Things That Can Be Proved and For Which There is Evidence. I don’t Believe in God for the Same Reason You Don’t Believe in Vampires, Faeries, Werewolves, Pegasus, Mermaids, and Numerous other Supernatural Beings from Myth, Folklore, and Fantasy. You Make an Exception for One Preferred Flavor of Myth; I don’t. I believe in the Power of Loving Kindness, Illuminated by Self-Reliance and Mindfulness. I Neither Need, Nor Desire, a Belief in Deities to Walk That Path. To Exist in Reality. “No amount of Evidence will Ever Persuade an Ignorant Person.”

@@josselogam The Bible is full of Contradictions and Discrepancies. The Bible is an Unreliable Authority Because it Contains Approximately 700+ Inconsistencies and Contradictions. Logically, if Two Statements are Contradictory or Inconsistent, at least One of Them is False. The Biblical Contradictions and Inconsistencies Therefore Prove that the Bible has Many False Statements and is Not Infallible or Reliable. The Bible is Full of Violence, Genocide, Prejudice, Slavery, and Injustice, Often Commanded by God, and it’s Been used by Christians to Justify More Violence, Prejudices, Oppression, and Control. The Same Mind Control Techniques are Used Today. The Bible’s Descriptions of Nature and Natural History are Hopelessly at Odds with Science. Science Uses Facts and Evidence. 1) Defining the Problems, 2) Making Observations, 3) Forming a Hypothesis, 4) Conducting Experiments, 5) Drawing Conclusions, 6) and Peer Reviews. The Bible uses Faith. (No Evidence No Facts and No Reviews. Just the Bible to Prove the Bible.) Just Believe??? Definition of Faith: Strong Belief in God or in the Doctrines of a Religion, Based on Spiritual Apprehension Rather than Proof. The Bible Was Written By Ancient and Primitive People, to Explain the things They Didn't Understand, and Has No Value to Modern People Anymore. Christians Can’t Even Agree on What it’s Saying, So Who Cares if it’s True or Not. Either Only one Religion is True or all Religions are False? How Can all Religions be True? (Use Logic and Reasoning to Set your Mind Free) Sorry If You Don't Understand, It's Not My Problem... “No amount of Evidence will Ever Persuade an Ignorant Person.”
