What do you do when the good you try to do backfires? I can't see one good thing I tried to do having blessed anyone I intended to bless. Instead, it seems to have brought harm to them and now they despise me

Just did a lesson on proverbs 1 today I. Youth group. I am 19 and I find these lessons very helpful and I believe every teen and young adult should listen to these with the most sincere heart!

I'm 30 years old with two young children of my own and a third on the way, listening to these so I can grow in my understanding of discipling my children, and for my own edification (this really is a great study of Proverbs). For any young men reading this. Take Mr. Washer's words to heart. I spent far too much time in my life as a prodigal, running from God with the idea that I knew something. When I finally wanted to come back, it was a brutal battle. Last year The Lord delivered me from many things, but it has been a challenging time dying to myself. Putting away childish things, and putting my nose to the grindstone has been disheartening, trying to make up for lost time. Put your childhood away as soon as you can and become a man. Burrying your dreams, imaginations, passions, and creativity in pursuit of following Christ is not fun to do at 30. Put them away so they don't become monsters that you have to do battle with. Believe me. I'm fighting for my life.

I want to your teachihg again. Our church members share with your teaching about Proberbs..

Sometimes what God allows in life…it feels like anger, even though the Bible says it’s Love. How can you see the ‘good’ from suffering when it just crushes you every day? And it leaves you not really seeing a point in living at all?
