I had an 11 win run with warrior using really agressive cards. I started off lucky with two deathsbite, fiery war axe and some standard 2s. I decided to go full aggro when I had to pick charge over a decent 4 mana card. Ended up getting rampage and a few enrage cards + whirlwind.

At 10:33, the correct play would have been Task Master + Dark Iron. The removal of the Ogre would have made his best valued play to remove the Taskmaster with the Mech which you could have thrown Dark Iron into the next turn. Turn 7 now has options of the Assassin and the Stormwind. You could buff the Dark Iron to 5/2 and trade for what he plays or play the Assassin for big removal and just trade down into the Mech.

playing a lone stormwind into the opponent's board is not good at all. he'd still be massively behind in terms of tempo... kripp didn't know his opponent had argent, and made arguably the best play with the sky golem for a couple reasons: 1) it's the stickiest minion that can't be easily removed 2) it allows for flexibility later on by conserving the two smaller creatures. if he follows your line of play then his next few turns are entirely scripted, and it will be easier for him to get ridiculously tempo-d out. i.e. being forced to only drop one large minion per turn on turns 7-9 is a lot worse than having the flexibility of dropping 2-3 utility creatures like dwarf, taskmaster, and something else on one of those turns if needed.

My initial reaction was actually the same as yours in taking your line of play. After some more thought, I think both lines of play have their strengths and weaknesses. Kripp chose a perfectly reasonable play that his opponent happened to counter perfectly, but hindsight is 20/20.

Kripparrian. I have now finally gotten myself to google the pronounciation of the word "Hearth". It's not pronounced 'Herth' and therefore it is not called 'Herthstone'. It's rather pronounced like 'heart' but with an 'h' on the end. So the right pronounciation is 'Harthstone'. Keep up the good videos man, I dig that shit ;) /Hartmann

I hate playing with a mindless facerush deck as Warrior because my Warriors are super unlucky (either they always have a bunch of Sludge Belcher/Sun Walker or multiple Ooze), but I enjoy playing this kind of deck in arena with Hunter or Rogue (because they have ways to deal lethal around taunts, and they aren't completely reliant on weapons). I call it mindless, but it's not really that, as if all you do is go face you're just going to lose unless your opponents are terrible. Choosing when to go face is a big deal, for getting too punished by any big card could just be game over.

My best ever warrior run was an 11 win deck with 3 5-drops as the highest mana cost cards in the deck.... And this was before gvg lol. Aggro warrior in arena is the best thing ever ;)

KokkeliMonke1311 ... My best Warrior run is a 12-0 deck which was mid-ranged with a few late game winners. That was before GvG though, back when Warrior wasn't a complete joke in arena. Best I've done with him since GvG is 10 wins. QQ

lkjkhfggd Oh yea, arena was a lot more fun before GvG. With GvG, there's just sooo much RNG involved that the game seems more like 50% skill, 50% luck. Before GvG, I could get really good runs just by taking good trades and picking good creatures. Nowadays its always a fucking luck roll that you always seem to lose.
