My theory is that one of his friends or siblings trolled him by switching around the cards in his deck when he wasn't looking, and his hand was full of garbage. Although Hemet wouldn't have been _terrible._

Andrew Boswell shaman against hunter is a miserable matchup. They kind of have a chance now if you get a Fireguard Destroyer with high attack because then you can race them.

AscendedFish It's base stats aren't bad and if you are behind the stealth helps you reach 4 health hits with flametongue or 5 with Rockbiter. If you are ahead than it is just a solid body for its cost that benefits from the healing totem.

ElledarBlackraven Hunter minions aren't as valuable, except for Highmane. Most of them trade balanced stats for extra damage or charge or an extra effect (Webspinner, Mad scientist isn't a class card but it's run in 90% of hunters). They just deal damage fast and then die. I think that's why it's not as effective as Zoolock, which also controls the board. But it has better minions, stickier minions (eggs), and better stats/buffs. Not to mention the card draw engine. If you run out of gas with hunter and you haven't won already, then you've lost 9 times out of 10.

Tommybotham u aim to finish the opponent midgame..before they have a chance to call upon massive creatures.. so plenty of small creatures, removal and some medium sized minions. Hope this helps

Marooned Gaming Hunter is one of Trump's least played classes though.

Shingeki no Kylie Well he seemed to come up against a lot of shaman/zoo/mech mage at the time so that was obviously the meta at his position on ladder at the time, not a lot of handlock/freeze mage. This deck plays quite similarly to midrange hunter but more aggressively it probably improves more matchups that it weakens.

Shingeki no Kylie It's pretty much a common opinion amongst professional players that this kind of deck is on top of the meta right now. If you are not familiar with TempoStorms Meta Snapshot you might want to check that for further reference. Basically the deck is good because it doesn't loose much efficiency in terms of aggressive early game potential in direct comparison to the Facehunter while not being as vulnerable to anti aggro tech and a lot of the decks that are currently run on the ladder. One of the main reasons for that might be the popularity of Grim Patron Warrior which simply eats aggro and you pretty much need to have a deck that can beat Grim Patron at the moment.

Aldmeri Dominion actually... face hunter has not been too popular lately on ladder. I've been checking for freezing traps because I've seen these half and half hunters lately.

gundamxcreator Strange, I have not seen much half and half hunters but I guess that is because I stuck at around rank 10 - 8. It just seems like the most reasonable course of action would be to check for explosive before putting down a bunch of minions that can be killed by it unless you know for sure it is not.

Hunter control yes, not rush hunter. Only 1 copy though, it's good with all the hunters and mages around but not good enough I feel to warrant 2 deck slots.

Idk what they should do to it. Before Naxx and GandG, PO wasn't so bad, but since there are so many deathrattle synergies and a lot of 1/1's on the field constantly, gaining control of the board with higher cost minions is almost impossible since you can't get value out of them. The card can give great board control and good burst, all for 1 mana.

While your at it why not just delete warlock from the game. Since it's mediocre class cards are too strong.

Chu E. No need to patronize, kid. Anyways, having the strongest hero power has kept Warlock in the top classes since the release of the game, even after nerfs. While classes like shaman and priest struggle to even stay relevant, with a few niche decks here and there.

While it's technically been an idea, only two deck archetypes have ever really existed: control and aggro. Midrange has not been a real thing to do before. That's why Trump was describing it so weirdly in the video (rather than just straight up calling it a midrange deck), even though he's a pro at the game.

theStonerKid69 I thought Mid-range meant your deck's curve was focused around the mid game (3-5 mana)? I have a so-called "Midrange Priest" where most of my cards are 1-5 mana, and it's not aggro because it has control cards, so, I called it Midrange.

theStonerKid69 No, there are several very strong decks which fit the hearthstone definition of Midrange. Notably, Midrange Druid has been a top-tier deck since the beginning of time, and Midrange hunter has existed for more than half a year.
