I hate all these flavor of the month decks. Freeze mage, leeroy rogue, control warrior, mech mage.... Except when Trump plays them. Then it's alright. 'Cause he's the good guy.

I don't mind Trump playing cancer decks, but I fear the incoming horde of copycats following him.

I love the detail Jens puts into these videos, like when Trump checks his hero levels the hunter is replaced with "scum." My favorite moment was in one video where the artwork for Trump's weapon was replaced with Annoy-o-Tron during a turn. Clever touches like that make this channel so enjoyable to watch, there's just so much value to this content.

I have a theory as to why hunter is actually so OP and always has been. First of all this is just a theory; secondly I also didn't play hearthstone from the very beginning, nor have I played for a couple of months. But I think it's their hero power. Now before you all scream at me and tell me I'm mad, think about it, truly think about it. You always start to sweat a bit once you get to about 10 health and they're still slapping minions on the board. Say for example all you could use were hero powers, hunter beats them all except paladin and stalemates with priest and warrior, whilst I accept that's a third of the classes, start thinking about it in a normal game. Paladin's little guys are going to be trading into bigger stuff, priest is going to be trying to heal his other minions and warrior not always going to be armoring up. Which sort of leads me on to my next thought. If my theory is correct and the source of the hunters OPness is their hero ability then I predict that if hunters became extremely popular again, the best counter to the hunter would be a warrior deck which can keep the early game under control and hit the armor up button fairly regularly. That may literally just be control warrior which may have already been proved to be shite against hunter, but remember this is a theory from a guy who doesn't play that much hearthstone, so this may all be total bollocks, but thank you for your time. You may now go wild and scream at me for being wrong.

The good news is that Hunter is just really good now, and doesnt have any broken cards in it. I could argue Highmane is a little too good but overall the class is fine. It just has really good cards, whereas the other classes do not quite yet. I feel that the next expansion will help smooth things out.

Sometimes I get frustrated at this game. I usually end up realizing I'm taking it way to serious, especially after watching people play a hunter deck. Play thing on curve, hit face, or trade when you know ignoring a minion would create a problem on future turns. Most of the time, you just top deck and laugh as your opponents scrambles to think of a possible solution before the rope runs out. After your opponent finally gets through your traps in the most efficient and least damaging way possible with the board and hand state seemingly in his favor, you top deck your kill command, play an owl and emote "Sorry." There are definitely games to get mad at when you lose, but HS is definitely not worth the anger.

I played facehunter only until I had the cards to make a good midrange deck, i am here to express my love for the hunter class, its awesome and the only reason I play the game. I still cant seem to get past rank 8 though.

I run a similar Hunter deck. Though, the biggest difference is I run Snake Traps instead of Freezing Traps, for more Juggler/Hyena synergy. And I run Volcanic Drake for value.

Sea giant synergies great with hounds and creepers, idk y I'm the only Hunter running them. So awesome dropping hounds and 2 giants on turn 5 w coin lol, happened several times, got a few rage quits

I was playing with my paladin and almost every game I encountered hunters or mages, so I taught maybe I could use Kezan mystic against the secrets. I putted the card in my deck but when I started playing not a single hunter or mage came by. I played 30+ games and not one so I got the card out of my deck. But when I did that they suddenly all came back.

This is one deck I can afford, and just played from rank 18 to rank 13 undefeated (3 levels higher than I usually venture). However the man who quoted Nietzsche is correct, I have become the Hearthstone equivalent of an Audi driver. I can feel my soul breaking but it feels so GOOD!
