@@N12015 Doesn’t it say “resets when you start the round with the attack token”? Meaning Rallys won’t count for the reset.

@@kinht.7811 I guess I was remembering misadventures with Garen and Samira, how he kept resetting the counter with "Round Start: Rally", as well as that nexus power in PoC who gives you rally because I expected it would be a good idea but it wasn't. In short, she resets when you have a "Round Start: Rally", meaning the nexus has an effect of "Round Start: If you have the attack token, Rally" if they are threaten as equals.

It is only 6 cards in 2 turns if the attack token isn't transferring to you. Which is kind of wacky

@@EricBlanchBrines Or the Samira/Leona pairing, which is basically Daybreak aggro but with Samira instead of Katarina, aka kinda impossible to deal with tempo-wise and rallying you over with superior statline.

@@isaacmendes1926 Except that right now you can genuinely justify a revert to him because shurima as a whole is kinda bad and Akshan is not in the meta. LoR players really struggle to understand the DELAYED part and how it makes it not that good.

Jack/Jarvan has seen play too, but that's less so for the Coin play pattern (Jack never levels in that deck) and more so Elites with a sprinkling of Brash.

Yea, really wished there was a deck where he and the Nukkle combo are the main wincon Sett just works better with Karma; I tried building one with Flashbombs and Caitlyn (Prize fight on Caitlyn is pretty good), but Seraphine with Jack is also way better. He is a solid card, solid stats, good keyword, generates a coin on hit.

As someone who knows what you're talking about, yeah it would be an accurate comparison in theme. Basically Sett and Jack are two of the best fighters in the pit and the kings of their own rings.

Range in general destroys Sett, and so does short trades. That being said, is kinda unintuitive to deal with and is definitely a noob stomper.

Because he surely goes all-in all the time. That's what Sett wants.

Releasing new cards becomes impossible after a certain point because every card puts constraints on all of the cards that come after. If you dont rotate/ban cards the game will very quickly devolve into turn 3 otks and unbeatable tier 0 decks that will play rock paper scissors.

Also you can still play with your old toys no? Just a different game mode.

You can still play standard though. Although you'll be seeing Nora leveling in turn 3 and 2 or 1 turn/s leveling of Twisted Fate.

It kinda is needed to keep the game in relative balance though. They can't just add cards that are worse than the existing ones all the time. New cards needs to be strong and exciting. If the old strong cards are all available too, then they would easily break the game.
