Heartland Season 17 Episode 10 - Season Finale Explained!

CBC released the final episode of Season 17 on Sunday and it was really good. There were beautiful storylines in this episode, but my favorite one is definitely Amy and Nathan. Today I want to focus on the romantic aspect of this episode, so I’ll completely skip the business part because I believe it was a little boring. Plus, the romantic storylines are always more exciting than anything.

Yes I enjoyed watching season 17, I do think they will end up together, because Amy deserves to be happy and Nathan is the one for her. 😊

What?!! BBBut I thought it was just like real life?! Isn't that why they would never consider bringing Graham back even if he wanted to? Because it would ruin the realism of the show. Show is so dull now that yeah, Amy talking to her Lyndy about her father even sounds more entertaining than what they are producing now. @@MinaD1086

In order for Heartland to work, Ty's relevance and influence must be present in Amy and Lindy's life. Amy must talk more about Ty to Lindy, how amazing he was as a father, husband and overall person. Fans know Ty can't be replaced, therfore all of this "Amy needs a man" drama especially with Nathan are the writer's attempts to keep things interesting and not boring{this is a drama series}.But in the end the story will revert back to Ty and Amy, because in my opinion this series first and foremost is and will always be the Amy and Ty love story.

Amy wake up Nathan used you against your family which you say you love why don’t you get back with Ty who we know he deeply loves you and I still think you still miss him maybe still love him he will just bring you more heartbreak I think you had had more than your share of heartbreak there is usually a problem if his wife cheated on him think about that

If Heartland is approved for season 18 I really hope that Amy does not hook up with Nathan. The only person that she is really good with is Ty. Their chemistry is beyond compare. She just won't click with someone else. She just doesn't seem to have the acting energy since Ty died. As far as the wedding at the swing site goes, it was a really inappropriate. That swing was placed there by Ty for Amy and Lindy. It just wasn't right. It might be that the writers are going to try to eliminate any and all reference to Ty. End it now.

Gary. You are right on all your points. Yes Graham will not be coming back so let's move on. However it is time for Amy to turn the reins over to someone else as far as a love/romance is concerned. Don't ruin anymore than you have writers that it was the Amy/Ty show for 13 seasons! It really was. Trying to simply put a replacement in for Ty just won't work, if you want to keep the core of your fans. Let Amy get back to the Miracle Girl status,let her raise her daughter & Ty's in a way people in real life would, not like soap fanatic idiots! Allowing Nathan to be in Lyndy's memory space of her father within the clouds was just terrible! That is her area were she dreams and remembers her dad from his conversations with her. Amy had no business allowing that to happen!! But it is clear they are trying to have us all forget about Ty which as everyone can see is backfiring! I think a happy medium can be achieved: people have to realize the character Ty will not return. While the soap fanatics have to realize the hooking up of Amy with a new guy should not happen. There is enough storyline to create for Amber without attempting a new romance for her. Let the young ones take over that if ya like!! Amber you can still be the lead in the show but just don't continue in this ridiculous path you are on. Your popularity will suffer with that direction. Nothing wrong with realism in a fake show writers!! Normal people buy into that as do families! Just saying and really hoping, fingers crossed!!🤞🙏

Nathan is going to hurt Amy Nathan is no good. Jack knows he is up to something. Every man that comes on heartland the writers also try to hook Amy up.

As a Heartland fan, bringing Ty back would be the ultimate series success story. However, even if he doesn't return the show should focus on the reason true fans continue watch Heartland, and that is Amy and Ty's love story. Amy dating and her relationship with Nathan(some say is Ty's replacement} is simply the writers keeping the show interesting and not boring. Some have said Amy deserves happiness and should remarry like Jack and Tim. Remember, Tim and Jack remarrying is entirely different than Amy's situation because the fans have had 14 years to know and love Ty which can't be erased. In the end, Ty can't be replaced and Amy's overwhelming love and connection to Ty will prevail. Heartland will end with Amy finding her happiness and place as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted.

I agree with you Jack hates Nathan....One of the worst seasons of Heartland, Amy always after the Man, in this one there were 3 men. A woman (Amy) who doesn't teach her daughter anything, nor stays with her daughter, very strange, right. She doesn't talk about her father to her daughter, she doesn't visit the grave of the husband who loved her so much. She spent more time with men than with her own daughter, she became a vulgar, loveless woman. Lindy, your daughter has to learn her profession and also find out who her father was, TY. During the cattle drive, Jack was talking to the family about the FAMILY BUSINESS and said that the Bartlett Fleming Morris Klan never gives up without a fight. Shouldn't Jack have said that Bartlett Fleming Morris Borden Klan never gives up without a fight??? Or did Lyndy Marion Borden change her name to Fleming??? A big mistake by the producers in not mentioning Borden. Season 18 I hope Jack gives Nathan a leg up on Montana, Nathan is the worst for Amy. Amy get your head on straight and take care of your daughter. Heartland has been dead since season 14, each season getting worse and worse without an audience.

Buongiorno per piacere fate tornare Tyler perché la vera storia dei veri protagonisti sono loro Tyler e. Emy anche se tutte e due con il nuovo personaggio stanno bene ma sono rimasta un po’ delusa con la scomparsa di ty in Italia non sono arrivate su Netflix le stagioni 14.15 16 17 l’ho guardato qualche cosa su KZfaq e la 17 ma stagione quasi la penultima puntata qualche pezzettino mi piace questo ragazzo ma dai il retail se per favore potete fare continuare con te della serie se ci sarà una serie nuova

Absolutely adorable, this was my favorite season in AWHILE. Yeah, Lou was annoying as always but almost all of the other plots have been great. I cant wait for the next season! They better not end it here!

what a beautiful last episode. I love to see Amy and Nathan together. And I love the wedding even more. Specially Jacks speech. It‘s not about the past and not about the future. It‘s about now and the people we love in this moment. We could see Nathan struggling about this words but he knows that’s true. Amy, Lindy and Nathan cloud gazing togehter looks so right to me. I guess they will find love for each other. I think also they will never get married, but they will love.

I totally agree with everything! Except the not getting married part. I have a feeling a relationship wouldn't even be in the cards for Amy unless there was some hope of marriage. She's not one to get pushed around and stands her ground when there's something she believes in.

I really liked Fynn, and I honestly couldn’t see Amy with anyone but Fynn. However, Nathan has won me over. Nathan and Amy’s relationship looks natural, and very comfortable. I think Lindy feels it too, and I liked the fact she asked Nathan along to watch the clouds with them ❤️🇨🇦❤️😳 I think we are in for a great season 18. Nathan will be a huge Peace maker, and will end the rift between his Grandpa and Jack.
