The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in season 17 especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring. I believe if Ty comes back to the show Heartland will continue with Ty, Amy and Lindy together again. If he doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons.

I don’t think Amy and Nathan should be together. Nobody can replace TY. Nathan is a dork. The show is not the same without TY. Amy is just going to get passed around like a buckle bunny. The magic between Ty and Amy can never be replaced.

Sadly, Graham Wardle has shown ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in Returning to Heartland. Personally, the ONLY Way that I See it possibly Happening would be if there is a DEFINITE Final Season that Might Entice Him to Return in order to bring Closure to the Ty/Amy Relationship. Even then I would expect that it would be done in Dream Like Sequences. The Only Way I see Heartland Continuing for much Longer would be if the Producers and Show Runners are Successful in Finding a New Soft Spoken, Calm, Easy Going and Respectful Actor to Replace Ty so that they can Recreate the Amy/Ty Romantic Relationship that carried the Series for 13 Years. Unfortunately, I Truly Believe that Failure to Succeed in accomplishing that goal will ultimately result in the show’s eventual Permanent Cancellation !!!

This Nathan they are going to try to make him like Ty it will not work you can't replace Ty no matter how hard you try. They are pushing to hard to find someone that can bring back the chemistry that Ty and Amy had it can't happen for one thing Graham had built up his character to what the fans had watch him grow as the character grows and that is why most of the fans as for Ty (Graham) to come back so stop pushing men on Amy.

You don't have to read a mind to know when one is jealous! And Buckle Bunny Amy was jealous seeing the other 2 Buckle Bunnies having a good time with Nathan even holding his arm. Amy was the same with Ty! Is there something wrong with Amy trying to find perhaps some girlfriends so she has someone to talk to, share thoughts and life in general?? Lou never gives her any good advise. Why do a few of you always think moving on with one's life automatically means you got to go out and troll for a new partner. Why can she not remain single like her mom to say the end of season 17. Isn't she supposed to be this strong independent woman!! She has alot on her plate that needs attention before any dating/boyfriend! First and foremost is her daughter! And please don't tell me she is spending near enough quality time with Lyndy. When have we ever heard her talk to Lyndy about her dad, telling stories about him and what a great father he was! I think any responsible mom or dad would put that miles ahead of what Amy has become(Buckle B). I am not opposed to a more than friend guy but certainly not in season 17. Other priorities need attention! They really do.

I'm not against what your saying if you were choosing for yourself , but we're on the outside looking in here and commenting on what we hear and see, and we don't see the same thing in the same way that you do !! It's human nature for men and woman 👫 to look for someone to love 😍 it keeps us warm 🫂 and fuzzy ❣I'm a devoted Heartland fan and I can say this ( I have never ,ever seen Amy neglect her daughter in any way shape or form ) pay closer attention to what your watching 👀 ✌

When have you ever heard Amy tell Lyndy about stories of her father or tell Lyndy what a great father he was? That my friend is a non caring mom!! Why would any caring mother replace Ty's horse which was meant for Lyndy to have and then put the saddle that Amhed gave her onto Ty's horse. Then take Lyndy for a ride on it? Amy new anything Amhed gave her bothered Ty and she quite enjoyed that. Amy is a Fleming and all the Fleming's have one focus and that is everything is all about them!

I like Amy with Nathan. Ty wanted to leave the show. Real life, people die and you have to go on living. Caleb should always be just a good friend. Ty isn't coming back. Just enjoy having such a long running great show to have watched!

I think that nathan and Amy should be together because they both have matching personalities and to be honest it is pretty obvious that Amy likes Nathan as she gets jealous and that Nathan likes amy because he gets jealous of how caleb was in amy's room. I really don't think that amy should get with Caleb because they are better as friends tha as a relationship rather than them being together becasue I also feel like Caleb is betraying Ty.

No, No, No, Not Caleb!!! He has Already had Two Unsuccessful Marriages with Two of Amy’s Personal Friends Ashley and Casandra, with whom He Fathered a Child. Caleb is a Proven Womanizer who Even Hit on Amy’s Sister Lou when He Kissed her just like He did Amy. Amy would Never get Involved with someone who has that kind of Track Record, and has been with nearly Every Woman on the Show. Amy needs someone like Ty who is Soft Spoken, Calm, Easy Going, Respectful and Kind. Show Runners need to reincarnate the Amy/Ty Type of Romantic Relationship that Existed for 13 + Years by Finding that Ty Like Clone for Amy for there to be Any Hope for the Program to Successfully Continue in the Future!!! Unfortunately, Neither the Womanizing Caleb, or the Self-centered, Cocky and Egotistical Sam Langston are the Answer. Hopefully,for the Future Continued Success of one of Television’s Greatest Programs, Nathan will be!!!
