I would gladly have Shankland and Danilo as our main two forwards and Dessers as a really good part of the team for rotation. His attitude and effort is right. Though if we rely on one striker again and Dessers is your only real option and we have to over rely on him, thats not enough forepiwer to wi titles. We simply don't have the money to compete anymore. Celtic will win the league for years to come because in reality it's not even a contest anymore just when they clinch it rather than if. We are now closer to the other teams than we are to Celtic and I think the board have accepted that we are a second place team at best so they budget for that.

Arfield was a good wee player and gave his best but he was done. Colak was happy here and he could have helped a bit, but with that defence it wouldn't have made much difference. The defence is the biggest part of why we continue to lose. The spine of the side is rotten and weak.

There is truth to that but Dessers isn't anywhere near being the issue of our failure. It is the defence. It is shocking defensively in both fulback and CB positions. Tav, Goldson, Souttar, Borna and Ridvan if he can't play much of a season have to go.

Raskin I know was injured, but when he came back he should have been in ahead of Lundstram. He has sell on value and is way better. Too many of the regular faces over seasons tell a new man what he wants to hear, they do the new manager bounce and I reckon when the new boss makes them work at changing and challenges them to imorove and work harder, they down tools. Very harsh on the youngsters and I disagree, Mcausland is good enough. King the jury is still out for me , but a loan would do him good at an SPFL team. He is too young to write off. Sima was injury prone before he signed, and has been since. He can't play enough of a season regardless of how good he is. We have to learn and not sign injury prone types. We were trending for worse than an 8 point gap when Beale was here. Had he been allowed to continue the damage would have been way worse. Clement needs to shoulder some of the blame, but bigger than that is the board and particularly whoever has signed off on so many injury prone players. Since Gerrard we have had way too many players with patterns or histories of injury before we signed them, yet we still take them, rather than see it as a red flag. So whoever has signed off on those deals along with giving Goldson £37k per week, Tav £30k, Lundstram £22k, Roofe £26k and Davies 27k per week needs removed from the building. Thats an idiot amd a huge part of why we have had these failings with guys missing constantly under 4 different managers. It has snowballed under Clement and that is not his fault. It is fully on those who run the club to fix. I saw last night we are being linked with injury prone Adam Traore. I honestly give up, if these people running the club are that stupid after so many ignored red flags. If Clemebt says yes to taking him he is a fool. I hope Clement is not a yes man, sticks to his guns and fights to fix this.
