Right so here's my 2bobs worth on the stadium saga, shorten the pitch by a say ten yards, put up netting to stop the ball going in the work site area, and play to a reduced capacity until the works are done and passed , then we get on with it, obviously that means compensation for the games missed in the Copeland but that's better than hiring a stadium, I'm no sure about euro regulations on pitch sizes but I'm pretty sure if we shortened the pitch it would be absolutely fine for league and cup games .

I agree, my preference re the fixtures and the stadium is to reverse the fixtures, if not that then i would prefer hamdump. FACT - if Taverneir is still here at the end of the transfer window (i truly hope he is gone by then and Goldson with him) then he will still be the captain. I agree that the real talking point is that if Taverneir goes and the captaincy is given to Jack then that tells a story all on its own re Goldson having been the vice captain all this time.
