This is the best cast I’ve ever seen for an adaptation. All the actors are so incredibly talented and portray the characters so well (and that’s just from the trailers!)

I have never seen such a perfect, on-point AF cast for an adaptation! As someone who was deeply in love with the comics, this is heaven. And props to Kit for making Nick even more adorable, which I didn't know was possible LOL. I'm at that after-watching a series phase and am already nostalgic so watch me rewatch this 100 times more~~

yasmin (elle) really gives off the energy of a confident, caring and supportive friend that everyone needs in their lives in this clip. when kit (nick nelson) had finished talking about his most embarrassing moment on set, she immediately encouraged him with 'but you tried, though', 'you tried'. and then when they were talking about actors fluffing up their lines she said 'that's the beauty of it. everyone makes mistakes.' in the last question, william (tao) pointed out that joe (charlie) had drunk a lot of coffee on set and all 4 of them agreed, yasmin also said 'that worried me a bit'. these details really make a good impression on me about yasmin's personality tbh.

They’re all so lovable, but the most shocking thing to me is Will and how different he is from Tau. Everyone else seems pretty similar to their characters, but Will and Tau seem like totally different people. They’re all great and the show was excellent.

The cutest thing is that Kit Connor is looking at Joe all the time. I really really liked season 1 and i hope to be a season 2 soon. I strongly recommend this series to younger kids because its a healthy love story of two people and a good example to the next generation of kids. In contrast with other gay series on Netflix this is honest, pure love story.

I walked away loving this series so much, I knew nothing of the book/web toon material and simply gave it a try off the strength of it just being on Netflix but after doing more research the cast literally embodied everything about the characters so much so that it’s hard to see them outside of their character. The casting is so on point it’s scary Im hoping for great things from the show and cast moving forward it was such a good watch.

I loved this story to an embarrassing level. I have never seen a movie or show, (and I am a huge~! Book, Theater, TV and Movie fan, I believe that the thing that separates humans from animals is our story telling), where every single actor, every single seen and every single cinema graphic was freakin PERFECT. This offering was cathartic for me. I have been out for 44 years, but this fulfilled something in me that has been missing all along. I have seen several other gay love stories, but this is the most innocent, sweet and wholesome love story I have ever seen. When I say that I loved it to an embarrassing level, (Dear God~!) I mean, I binge watched it 8 times in a week and a half. (and I have only ever binge watched one other show, ever, and that was only once through.) What sets this master piece aside from all other gay stories is both that it is one of the first none tragic love stories and it has not one single seen for the prurient of heart. Just awesome... Many tears of joy...

I will be REALLY REALLY MAD if I don't get a 2nd, 3rd & 4th season of Heartstopper. LGBTQ+ representation is REALLY IMPORTANT. The ONLY other TV show like this is Hulu's Love Victor. PLEASE adapt the whole Comic Book series.
