Looks so much better defined and healthy. It is nice to have long hair but when it is dry and damaged the best thing to do is cut it off.

Hi guys, If you have heat damage, you can either transition or big chop. I recommend for best results to transition, grow your hair out up to 1-2 years. You can get little trims in between 🙌🏽♥️ during this transition phase, it’s best to stay away from heat and color to avoid any more damage.

What is your opinion on keeping hair braided all year, taking it out every 2 months and rebraiding a week after (repeat throughout the year). Transitioning, but not able to do my hair everyday. Braids are easy!

I also same situation. I was doing keratin every after 6 months and I have to do every single time flat iron after I washed my hair since keratin doesn’t longer effect after maximum 3 months. I am so sick of to do that and my hair more damaged. I even can’t get rid of the dandruff. But My half of hair are big one wavy ( not even curly) and other half is flat at the bottom of hair . It really look early. Could i get suggestions for what is the best way to do my hair style during transition years, please 🙏?

I had been doing Matrix Opti Smooth for several years. Then last year I decided I was done. Since the Thio/Keratin base treatment did not destroy my hair bonds like a traditional relaxer I was able to transition beautifully and grew my hair out below my bra strap. I washed once maybe twice a month and blow dryed, but occasionally used a flat iron like twice every other month. My hair grew like weeds, not overheating nor over manipulating, just me and my satin scruchies. I just made the biggest chop in 3 years of 3 inches and I have the most beautiful natural 4a/4b hair since I was a kid. This big afro Puff is giving me life. This is the 3rd time in adulthood I am rocking natural hair and I'm finally in love. Thanks to my stylist, my hair is the healthiest its been in decades and so it is cooperating.

Some things that actually helped to control my hair fall include: (1) I quit wearing hair ties because it leds to tension damage. (2) I started massaging my hair and scalp 2 times a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while leaning forward & holding my head upside down to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Protecting my head while moving out to safeguard my hair from dust and pollution. (4) Using soft shampoo again from liittleextra only to wash my hair.

@lih1352Ай бұрын
She probably had a keratin treatment done to her and the ends shows how straight the keratin treatment left her hair but then she grew it out. So she probably calls it damaged because when you get a treatment like that they use the blow dryer high heat and straightening iron as well

She did get keratin damage but she didnt take care of her hair. Youre not just supposed to get a hair keratin treatment and dont even look after youre hair. I just got my treatment 1 month ago. It looks the same as my hair got done the day i got the treatment. But i take severe care abt my hair. It literally looks as if i just got my treatment done. Here is my routine: 1. 2 or 3 hours beffore i wash my hair i oil it with rosemary oil. 2.i also add oil at my mids and ends 3. I massage my scalp with a scalp massager for 15 mins. 4. I leave my hair in for 2-3 hours 5. I brush my hair and i wet it in the shower 6. I put coffee grounds in my shampoo to make a clarifying shampoo for my hair 7. I shampoo twice with a scalp massager 8. I get all exess water out of my hair 9.I use a hair mask and leave it in for 15-20 mins 10. I rinse it out and then i get out exess water and condition my hair 11. I leave it in for 5 mins 12. I rinse it out 13. I rub my hair in a microfiber towel and then i add leave in conditioner 14. I add a hair serum 15. I blow dry my hair 16. I add hair oil on my mids and ends 17. I flex my hair (just a joke) Buttt yeah thats itt❤❤
