I love it towards the end too when Neil and Eady are driving thru the tunnel right before Neil decides to go after waingro. It subtlety kicks on as Neil and Nate say their goodbyes. You can sense the end of the story is near and he’s so close to freedom. My favorite movie

I thought the exact same thing man! Their names appear and the guitar riff at the background...pffff
@threedog27 Жыл бұрын
@@sukottoshinobe7360have you noticed the colour of the background in the tunnel? It first is white, then blue and at the end black. It show the different stages of his thoughts. He first feels relived, he escaped everything turned out good (white). With that comes hope, a new live with a women (blue, colour of hope) but then he decides to Break with it and turn back into his habit. He looses control and he knows it. From there there is no escape (Black). Its subtile but genious. Its even more genius that both actors dont talk during the drive. Everything happens in their minds. But the screenplay reveal to us what really happens.

Whenever I watch it now, and that moment when the credits roll, and Moby's God Moving Over The Face Of The Waters kicks in...I just always have that overwhelming feeling...that I've just witnessed sheer greatness, yet again. While most Action movies of the 90's had generic music... THIS FILM stood above them all. It was more of a character-study than a Heist film. NEIL is one of the best anti-heroes. A criminal with morals. When he is in the Bank telling people not to worry it's not their money, also telling the person he punches to "Let it Bleed". He even tries to kill one of his own crew members after executing a cop. THIS THEME reminds me of Neil.
