Yup. The fans rule, as they are the ones paying for admission. If they want to be cry babies, rent a track their own and race with your buddies the way THEY want to race. Otherwise, buck up, Buttercup.

I know this is likely asking too much, but maybe, people can see that car counts aren't a series issue. It's no a WoO thing or HL thing, it's a region thing.

That's what I've been preaching recently! These series need to focus on more regional series to boast the class they love! Same with promoting a truly cheaper alternative class, even a great entry-level class. It JUST doesn't take the series to promote the sport. It takes the driver, teams, tracks, and even down to the fans to promote the sport. Bring friends, or family to the track.

High limit had 50+ cars at eastbay. It’s weird that it can have such a drastic contrast in car counts. Even HL went from 50+ to just around 30 at GI. That state is weird.

I was pissed about the heats being canceled. I felt cheat . I was pleased that Trent Ivey won . He's a friend of mine from the same town and only lives a few miles away. Also went to school with and pulled for his daddy , Petey Ivey . He also put on a show 2 years ago at Eldora to get into the World 100 .

If you are going to punish the fans and cancel heat races (it certainly does not punish the teams by taking that extra wear and tear off their night), at least reward the drivers that pulled up to heat race. Let them run the heat and they start closer to the front in the main. Let the guys who were not ready start in back of the heat race runners in the main. Never EVER punish the fans for the petulance of the drivers or the series, or the track. Also, if packing the track is an issue, book a heavy car division to run on the show with them knowing they are packing- and getting paid better to do it.

Car counts are always like this for the most part during this time of year, it's just an awkward time where some people haven't gotten going yet and a lot of them aren't going to go to Volusia a 2nd time when it's that hard on engines. However, people just need to keep consistent energy, High Limit getting flack for 25 cars in an area of the country with no sprint car racing at all doesn't make sense if you aren't also going to give the Outlaws flack for 18 cars lol. The reality is neither one is a big deal at all.

Its sad that the oldest Super Late Model Series in the country has this little respect from its competitors. Although to be honest , the SAS has been going down for the last few years. I dont think they had 2 cars run the whole schedule last year. If they cant do any better than that , maybe its time to shut the series down and let racers compete in newer , upand coming series

In stead of using qualifying times, they should have used pill draw, let some of the fast guys have to drive thru the field, probably been a better show, IMO

The 1 and only time I was at a race in Salina, Kansas back in the 90's the drivers didn't want to pack the track. The pits are in the middle so the guy got on the speaker and said.... In 3 minutes you will either be out on the track packing or I'm giving the fans back their money and we are calling it a night. You will not get your money back. The drivers packed the track.

As someone who was at the track for the race yeah it was a let down that they didn't do heat races. But when track officials decided to reset every thing and get ALL CARS on track before hot laps to roll in the track none of them showed up and were also called to the track multiple times. When it came to qualifying that was even an issue from what I saw from the stands. Come heat races it was disappointing cause as soon as their feature ended I'm pretty sure like 90% of the spectators left along with my group. But then again it was also understandable that all of them were gonna be in the feature and would rather them save their equipment. Just sucks when there is series and track drama and screws up all the fun.

5 of the 7 were in staging for heat 1 when the call was made to scrub. Gustin and Mark Greene were the two drivers that didn’t make it to staging. The SAS official lining up cars was just as confused as to what was going on.

The series did. I was at Cla Knights car when the horn was given. Within 5-6 minutes cars started rolling. That horn is the 10 minute horn. I don’t get it

The guys who went to staging get to start on the front row of the feature and get some extra money at the end of the night since there were no heat race pay outs. I hate to say it for the series but you almost have to do something for the fans too because they kinda got screwed in this deal. But I’m not sure what you do. Anyway, great show!

The weather threw a wicked curveball at the track at Cherokee and it was not ready on time so, I think the drives were right about hotlaps. But I paid for and was sold an event with heats. It certainly didn't ruin my day, but I do feel cheated. Also, I never heard a horn so not sure how they called the teams. Lastly, starting by time is NOT a punishment but a reward for the teams. Come on man, I'm (a paying fan) the only one punished..

Good for the series, with streaming services the racer needs to on time. Plus Cherokee has a light system to tell when to come to the grid.

I think they should've moved the Super Late model program to the end. They've done that here with different classes. You guys don't line up, then you go last. Although that did mess me up one time. Wasn't exactly ready to go on track for our race at the moment and they pushed us up in line. Due to the other class didn't want to line up for their A-Main. So I had to go real quickly to make the setup changes.

Noticed that NARC 410’s in California already canceled their opener scheduled at Hanford March 9 due to “wet weather” however there’s no rain in the forecast from Tuesday March 5 through the next 10 days. Was planning on going. Any thoughts?

They should've just called off the show and told everyone to go home and no payout then they might start playing by the rules track saves money the series doesn't get a black eye

That’s funny because I only heard officials blow the horn one time in the pits. Also think it’s bullshit that they made 79 & 76 change their 56 AR RR in the pits due to it not saying 56 on the tire because the Hoosier simp pointed it out that they said pro3 instead of 56 being the same tire.

I agree I heard the horn once for heats and there were drivers in cars ready to go out. I watched cars go to stage for first heat and was turned around to go back to pits.
