I don't understand how you can possibly defend Tristan's advice here. The woman was absolutely spot on about the Tate's message of materialism and thinking of women as objects. I, as a woman, also agree that masculinity is under attack in the west and the Tate brothers also explain and describe it flawlessly, however, their prescription of how to go about it is where I draw the lines.

I think girls should be taught by a parent that there are always going to be men like this. If your daughter does not have a male and female role model that can prepare them for the world, I would hope you would get involved in your church or big brothers or big sisters, etc. They need to see positive relationships modeled so they will know how to choose a wisely. This is not a Tate problem, this is a parenting problem.

It is shocking to see men as educated and accomplished as Patrick and Adam sacrifice their critical thinking at the alter of old fashion alpha male egotism. Patrick even went so far as to throw his own daughters under the bus in favour of Andre Tate's brand of masculine influence, which he himself admitted he wouldn't want for his own daughters. And when Liz Wheeler called him out on it he doubled down because he would prefer his daughters live in a world of men influenced by Andrew Tate instead of a world influenced by men like Steven Bartlett. I pity his children.

They do have a different moral compass for sure - but they’ve done more in fighting this current battle against men being demasculinised … Liz said it herself.. now yes Godly is being important but right now the woke left has taken hold on men in society and are being attacked Tates have done more to fight that than any current ‘godly’ influencer - to think that us as men can’t distinguish the good from the bad in the Tates message (which let’s be honest a lot of it is exaggerated and is a character Tare has made as it has proven to bring the attention it has) is an insult to us. I don’t agree with a lot of what the Tates say, but I applaud that they stand up against the nonsense we are seeing in the far left and at least are bringing the fight to them.

Convincing her that you're that guy just to take it from her is truly despicable. The option of sex for women is ALWAYS on the table, they can get it anywhere any time. PBD has cognitive dissonance when it comes to the Tates. How can you say you like a person but then use their behaviour on video to warn his daughters about potential threats (predatory behaviour) that may cause then harm. Not sure how one can like someone who admits to predatory acts, where is the line of unacceptable behaviour? …he acts like a predator to women but then helps a bunch of guys to work out so in the end it is net positive….this is a slippery slope for societies and will lead to further deterioration.

@YungPhilosopherYou’re hilarious. I don’t dislike the Tates at all, but they’ve done many things that directly hurt the men they claim to help (like screwing them out of money by tricking them, and also tricking women into losing their virginity, but then telling guys they should pursue virgins cuz they have less trauma. It’s like if I convinced you that you should only drink from the unopened bottles of liquor at the bar, but then I walked up to the bar and started opening every bottle just for fun). I understand you’re a Tate stan, and that’s fine - I bet if I hung out with them I’d really like them. But you have a very surface level understanding of life & society if you think they’re the greatest role models for men. Their advice can be _helpful_ for young men (at least in the short term), but that doesn’t make it good.

I think women get mad when a man they don't want figures out how to appear to them as a man they do. women like to be able to go into the world of men and pick the man they want and then have them be what they expect them to be. so if you show a man how to pretend to be a different type of man than they would normally present as, it makes their job of finding a man they want who will commit to them. they want it to be easy. this makes it less easy. that's why they don't like a video like that existing. because if a woman was making a similar video on "securing the bag" from men... crickets. you know makes a mark easier to grift? their own greed. so before you cry about women being misled, consider that.
@ReeVoque
@ReeVoque 7 ай бұрын
@@theoverunderthinker In addition to what you've stated, there also tends to be an oxymoron in what attracts them. The less they know about the man, the more appealing he is to them. It allows them wiggle room for the imagination to envision what they want him to be, thus increasing the attraction based on how they perceive the man in their mind. There's an almost impossible overlap of being mysterious enough to keep her on her toes, but also giving her enough information so she is satisfied.

@@ReeVoque I agree, but not all women function that way and the weird part, women who don't subscribe to those mentalities tend to make better relationship choices (in my experience). probably because they are looking at what is in front of them and not what they expect to get out of it in the future. and to be fair: a lot of men could benefit from the same insights, it just plays out differently because the have different goals, but on some level it is a human thing as well.

Yes, I don’t know if Andrew Tate actually realizes he’s promoting moral degeneracy, which , in the end is destructive to society. Plus, I think he’s incredibly insecure. Anybody who talks so loudly about themselves; about how great they are, possessions they own, etc is overcompensating for a low opinion of themselves. He LOVES to tell the world how great he is and how many young men he’s ‘saving’. He’s got the God complex for sure.

Liz is only right from a female perspective. Men don't watch the Tates and feed off them being told they are attacked. Men watch the Tates and feed off the masculine emotions they project. It's like a football coach getting the team prepared for a game. Coaches don't use fear they project fierceness and confidence and toughness in their players and the Tates project those emotions in their viewers which creates stronger better men. Also if you watch their more recent stuff Andrew is very adamant on not viewing pornography and he also is against alcohol. They are promoting healthy ways for men to be better stronger than ever. We need more men like Andrew and Tristan Tate in this world to stand up against the radical leftists we have in the world.

This is the best explanation of why the Tates are not necessarily good for society. I agree with most of what the Tates say about masculinity in modern society but you pinned it perfectly. They are teaching weak men to become powerful without understanding the responsibility that comes with that power. The youth tends to hyper-focus on the materialistic and self-serving side of their message. Most want to become successful for their own betterment. Not for the betterment of others. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

She is, so far, the most eloquent detractor and her arguments were sound. Rather than use ad hominem attacks or other argumentative fallacies, she spoke directly to the normative aspect of the advice offered in the video by the Tates, and she was spot on. And it is about time someone eloquent provided a push back. The video by Tris was appalling. I do agree that they have other advice for men which is good, notwithstanding, the virgin advice was awful. The PDP team have a bias, as they are friends with the Tates, and so issue of incentive caused bias is at play. Fundamentally, the lady was addressing the ‘ought' argument (prescriptive statement), whilst the others were focused on the 'is' argument (descriptive statement). She was heads above the rest.

The only reason why these clips are even popping up is because anti-Tate people are promoting it on their behalf as a strategy to slander the Tate movement as it exists today. In reality, these clips aren't at all related to his rise to fame and popularity. His rise to fame and popularity came from his accurate diagnosis of societal problems, and his self-help/motivational content. That's 99.99% of his brand. I think Tate teaching young men to value themselves is incredibly important in this day and age, however he exploited male neediness in order to get rich. On some level he was (is?) contributing to the problem while simultaneously providing a solution. There are much better role models out there for young men to follow.

This conversation went off the rails because Adam was trying to "win" rather than have a discussion and Liz didn't pin him down when he was wrong. His best point was, "Hey, if the guy sticks around, and is a good boyfriend for a few months, how manipulative is that really? Are you telling me the virgin didn't sleep with him because she wanted to?" Liz should have responded, "Being a good boyfriend for a few months isn't the part I object to. I object to the guy planning, in advance, regardless of how the relationship is going, that he is going to dump her and go look for another virgin. That's the manipulative part."

Only an absolute lack of masculinity, a desperation for it, would cause anyone to look up to a wannabe pimp crime lord who brags about manipulating women into sex work, slavery practically, and boasts about how he dupes his followers too, as some “role model” just because he throws a few common sense words in with his BS.

I like Tom's take on this one. Both sides must be addressed for anything to be improved. I think we have to address the realties of 'casual dating'. It dehumanizes you and the other person. People don't like to admit it, but there's something about sex without committment that is dehumanizing. The lady is correct, though. I think many men are struggling with understanding the difference between being motivated to be better and being motivated to be materially successful. It's superficial and doesn't address the importance of human decency and spiritual awareness. These guys think getting money and women is equal to manhood. By making that of dominant importance (material and superficial wealth), and ignoring the realities of how problematic it is for men and women and children and society is not helpful. They have a skewed view of reality because they omit spiritual understanding. It's not good to teach boys and young men to chase material and women. And its not good to teach girls and women to also be that materialistic. It's not good to teach children to chase anything. They simply need to be guided toward being good humans. That can be simplified as, "Do your best to do no harm to yourself or others." It's harmful to dehumanize yourself or another, to use one another like objects, to idolize self or another or any object or worldly idea, to attempt to give away your power (freedom and responsibility) or take the power of another. It's also harmful to not express yourself. Freedom, responsibility, and expression are an important trinity. From there we can see that certain things we consider normal are indeed harmful. A poor diet or addiction to food, addiction to alcohol, addiction to sex or sexuality, addiction to celebrity status, and any other addiction are all harmful. It makes sense for people to put aside divisiveness, including hyper-materialism, and try our best to be good humans. Start with taking better care of yourself.

Her logic is sound. The problem is her logic is limited by her limited information. This means the premise of her conclusions are on faulty grounds. One can make logically sound argument and still be wrong if the premise is wrong. She’s actually arguing a strawman here. Listen to watch Tristan actually says in the clip without interpreting anything, just listen word for word. He says nothing about the things Liz claims he’s saying. Liz is filling in the gaps with her own feminist imagination and using feminist buzzwords like manipulation and exploitation to describe him. She’s doing this because she didn’t do her homework. She actually watched this clip as part of a slanderous compilation of out of context clips made by TheMilkBarTV.
