All of them were sought after in Europe by big clubs as hot prospects. There's not enough room for all of them to make it at chelsea. The fact that players might not improve won't matter in 5 years because top tier players will be sold for 250 million, and any mid ones that Chelsea still have by then will be going for upwards of 150m due to the market.

So players like Caicedo and Enzo will cost even more in 5 years time and Chelsea are ahead of the curve going on a buying spree and hoarding talent before transfer valuations go through the roof and it becomes a seller's market.
