Rashford also has more goals than martinelli but you won't hear about how poor martinelli's been last season because he's playing for a team that are performing well. People have an extremely short memory when it comes to rashford. He scored 30+ goals in all comps last season. His slump this season has coincided with utd's slump in general this season.

1. Dalot has been our player of the season. He is technically a good footballer, but sometimes gets caught out against crosses. 2. We need to keep Amrabat, especially considering his cost. Also Casemiro and Eriksen would leave most likely, so we will have no one in the middle of the park. 3. Diallo - keep 100% (we don't have a RW).

@@TP-pq9xx Martinez is virtually absent the whole of this current season, last season him and varane formed a really good partnership, yes, de gea was solid as well but alot of the shots man utd allowed last season weren't as dangerous as this season. Last season, him and varane were the bedrock to one really mean defence. Furthermore, he has proven to be adaptable when he has to partner linderlof and Maguire at times. Very underappreciated.

Manchester United need a rebuild on the scale of Arsenal's at this point, the issue is that no-one will give a manager the time it takes. Arsenal were a joke 5 years ago, now they're pushing the most expensive team ever to the last day of the league to see who wins (and they STILL have room to improve). Man Utd fans would need to accept a total rebuild, switch off from 'we're a big club' mentality for a few years and nurture some talent while offloading the driftwood.

Man City played against Andre Onana in the Champions League final and Pep Guardiola, arguably the best manager in the history of football praised Onana and talked how good of a goalkeeper he is. Here we are listening to fucking Buvey or whatever his name is telling us Onana is nowhere near good enough. in a rebuild u have to hold onto the ok players temporarily, u can’t clear out everyone and sign replacements for all of them in one summer. Players like Onana, Rashford, Maguire and Erikson are not good enough to start for a prem or UCL winning team which is where united want to be but u hold onto them all for another season atleast just so u can replace the players who 100% aren’t good enough such as lindelof, antony wan bissaka etc. You will need to sell the first players i named eventually if u want to reach that next level or atleast make them backup options but it’s better to keep those and play the half decent ones than replacing them and playing the bad ones

i think rashford going could be a good thing, i don’t think he’d want to go cus he’s on good money and leaving would tarnish his legacy cus he can’t really go to a bigger team, maybe PSG. Everyone else should be gutted from the squad and replaced over the next 3 windows. Branthwaite, Maatsen, Palhinha, Bruno Guimaraes, Pacqueta, Eze, Olise, Neto, Isak - those type of players are needed

Sell: Varane Dalot Lindelof Maguire Evans Shaw Mctominay Amrabat Casemiro Van de Beek Eriksen Martial Antony Sancho if he doesn’t fix up Potentially Rashford Keep: Both GK’s Martinez AWB Kambwala Malacia Bruno Mount Mainoo Garnacho Hojlund Amad Wheatley Sancho if he fixes up Potentially Rashford Obviously never going to happen but this is what’s needed to make Man Utd a good team again. You might think why sell Dalot, he’s at his highest saleable price this summer and there’s better right backs out there and Shaw is just always injured, obviously he’s a good player but that means nothing if he’s never in the squad.

The same bunch of players finished 3rd last season. Get good physios, doctors. Upgrade the training camp. Use the latest injury prevention and recovery models. This is the priority. If everyone stays fit, the most glaring positions to improve are just the def mid and striker serving as backup, probably a center back. That's it.

Typical Utd fan turning their nose up at players at smaller clubs. Wharton is exactly the type of player they should have been in for. Young, hungry and doesn't cost a fortune. They also behaved that way when linked with Mane when he was at Southampton.

The honest truth is you can't fix a club in one window they should have based the discussion on how they move forward next season alone. Deffinatly United need a hole back line but changing them all is not healthy shaw stays and probably to so does Dalot and you go get two top quality centre backs and when Martinez is fit you have compertition for places. After that a top quality cm and they could start to turn a corner. At this point they are just trying To get back to winning ways and trying to get top 4

11:15 see this is the problem with statements like "Rashford scores 20+ goals, how are we going to replace that?". We scored 57 in the Ronaldo season, 58 goals last season, and 55 so far this season in the league. So it doesn't matter if Rashford is playing well or not. We need to look at how we can control games better and create more chances for the team and Rashford is very much suspect in these aspects. He should not be given the untouchable superstar status he currently has. He is just as expendable as any other player in the squad.
