He hasnt had many starts, he isn't going to get any better sitting on the bench. It's clear he doesn't have the best footballing brain so game time and good man management is needed. It's difficult for wingers to get G/A in a Chelsea team that struggle to score goals. Quite often he plays good balls in but no one is there to put them away. You put him in a Newcastle team, an arsenal team, a Liverpool team where he has genuine strikers and goalscorers around him then you'd start talking about G/A. He made the wrong move going to a team in a 'rebuild' he should of gone to a team who are already at the top of their game.

I like the route Poch is taking with Mudrky. I think everyone knows Sterling is your clear 1st choice LW. Sterling is experienced and our goal scorer. Mudrky needs to be developed, Poch knows that. He’s taking his time with him. Mudryk needs to learn more about football and the Prem. I’d give it the whole season and assess next season how he is developing.

The biggest issue I think most arsenal fans had with the whole mudryk issue was that arsenal got beat to the signing of someone straight up twerking dor the move. Like how ever far we've come under edu and teta losing a key target to chelsea when he didn't even want the move to chelsea was super depressing. It's an at the time kinda issue and is the only 'bad thing' with it.

Not a Chelsea fan and don’t watch em much. But Leon Bailey has taken 2 full seasons of rubbish to come good. Sometimes it’s a body adjustment being able to feel confident in it and your ability in a. top league against top players Defenders in Bundesliga and much more the Ukrainian league have way less pace and strength and quality on the ball. Not to mention the goalkeeping standard. So much easier to take a man on in those league. Imo try Mudruk on the right as an old school winger. Beat his man out a ball in with his right foot quickly to try and find jackson who’s always on the shoulder ,similar style to watkins.

I completely disagree with joey saying we need 4+ signing 2 max in a keeper and a striker, our midfield is completely fine with lavia yet to come in, and with a back 4 having 4 CB's is fine with humphries doing brilliantly on loan at Swansea, Fofana is our saliba hes shown it when hes been fit but if he does continue to have injuries then another cb might be needed

Sterling is our best forward. Most effective. As a forward it’s hard to be consistent due to the opposition player and tactics, and their varying talents. But mainly because as a forward you take chances which have a low probability of working due to the intense studying by your opposition defender.

I get what you mean, and personally I do like Sterling, he is a likable guy, but he's not our best forward, that would be Palmer, I mean he did bag a few, but the way he plays and the lack of care in everything he does, makes me not care about the goals. I understand it's always a risk when you buy a player from a successful team, sometimes they think. they're the big fish... and it shows, he actually doesn't care about Chelsea, he won't defend, won't press, loses the ball constantly and ruins most of our build up with his bad decision making. And the only game he was really up for it was the Man City game so it doesn't count... He was just trying to impress his Ex.

i think people should cut some slack for mudryk. He has such huge potential.personally i would always start mudryk than sterling even though sterling is doing better. comparing Mudryk and Sterling I think Mudryk is physically stronger and faster with a higher work rate off the ball, that alone makes him a threat that the other team can't leave alone, I also think his dribbling is better as well as his ability to spot and make passes and crosses, the only things Sterling is better at is finishing (and that's not a massive gap) and off ball movement which is what Sterling is best at by a long way, if Mudryk had Sterlings off ball movement in the final third he would be a top class player.

Mudryk hasn't started many games. However to answer what is it about Mudryk...passion. The guy plays his heart out when he's on the pitch and then you got Sterling who is just strolling around 70% of the time. Mudryk for me, it's about potential. He has endless Potential. Yes he could just be the Ukrainian Dan james but...he COULD end up being the Ukrainian Vinicius Jr if he gets his time.

This is wrong. Mudryk has been a low touch player for Chelsea yes. Does that make him seem anonymous at times? Yes. However, there is no one more decisive on the ball at CFC than him. He creates at least one top top quality scoring chance per game. To say he’s started loads of games is also not true anyway. He’s started probably about 10.

In short answer Mudryk just needs more game time slowly and surely he will be great player 😊 He also needs to work hard on his first touch and trying to not running for his ball just keep the ball closer to him

very very harsh, came from a new league to the best league in the world his last game when he signed for Chelsea was in October because of the war in Ukraine so he came off give or take 3-4 months without football then came into a bad Chelsea side who had 3 managers in 5 months then poch comes in he also has a shaky start and mudryk is in and out of the side how's he meant to get a run of games to improve no context was provided to the argument

people cant compare mudryk to sterling. mudryk is less experienced that is why sterling perfoms better but doesnt give half of mudryk attributes. he is massively underrated. he has only played 12 matches this season and most of those coming of the bench. sterling has been playing most of the time full nineties. so is really not fair hoever he will silence all the doubters be it the man u game or some other game. Just have to hope poch starts him

Mudryk is brilliant but just doesn't get played enough, sub appearances he doesn't show much but with runs of starts he is good and will be good when he gets further starts. Brian was saying about not having a run of g/a but he had 3/3 in his run of 3 starts this season

I can't be the only one who sees this. Mudryk is a political signing that was made to make a statement. Previous owner was a Russian who got sanctioned so naturally the new owners bought in an ukranian player. I'm not saying he's bad. I'm just saying he's signed to make a statement.

Mudryk only started getting decent game time this season, he came in an unstable team and is a young player in a new country league and city. Comparing him and Palmer is stupid because they don’t play in the same position, using the fee argument is dumb because he didn’t pick his fee. He’s been good whenever he’s played a good amount of game time this season, he brings in directness and pace, an attacking threat. All he needs to do is improve his decision making and in game IQ and he’ll be up there with Leao and Vinicius
