You like those stamped metal shelf brackets? I find them a bit on the weak side myself. So I weld a support gusset in them made out of a piece of EMT. That adds considerable strength to the brackets for me. For all of the trouble it is I should just buy the heavier brackets, but I'm cheap.

Paul Frederick I don't mind them. they may wobble a little but they are rated for more than I put on them.

Michael Olson Braced they are much stronger. You're not bending one in your hands with a pipe welded in there. But like you say, they are rated for something like 100 pounds? When I brace one, the wall is going to come down before the bracket fails.

Paul Frederick Actually, the screws will pull out or break first. :) If you are going to weld braces on, you might as well just make the whole thing from wood - plywood triangle with two cleats screwed on.

The wiring diagram came with the thermostat. I never did swap out the bulb as it kept the box warm enough.

not if it stays cold. it's when it's cold at night and warm in the morning that I get rust from Dew. but I keep my iron waxed and it stays pretty clean.

I don't have enough dedicated shop time. I get maybe an hour at a time out there, it would just be getting warmed up and I'd have to leave.

I love them! I only have to charge them once every 2 - 3 months. I don't use them every day but they don't loose their charge by just sitting in the rack, I think that's a Li-On thing. some people don't think an impact driver is necessary but they make driving screws SO much easier and they are not much more $ if you get them in a pack.
