BEAUTIFUL!!...these are called 'Bantu Knots', popular in African culture. PS: you can also use bobby pins to secure them if you're not comfortable with rubber bands

about how long does this take to do a whole head of bantu knots?

The knots took about 35mins max then i left them in for about 2hrs so all in all the whole process took about 3hrs x

fatima hodzic it looks the same, I tried both. One for 2 hours and one of overnight. The results were the same. But everyone’s hair is different so you can have different results 😬

I tried this on my hair and it did not turn out well😭. I have long hair too. I think it was because its kind of hard for me to but the twisted hair in a bun/knot. Any tips? You're got gorgeous btw💖💕

Was your hair damp or wet? mine was just a little bit damp and i did them really tight, about 20 knots.. hope that helps and thankyou ♡

thank you for this tutorial! i needed to have bouncy curls for a play i'm in and the heat curls would fall out in 10 minutes 😒😒 but these curls stayed in for the whole play ! if you don't mind me asking , what song did you use in the intro?

I use to do these but then my hair after a while when i put hair spray it looked like twisted churros in my hair i didnt like it , it didnt look like the curls i wanted, your gorgeous though !!!Xxx 😘💓!

Oh no really! theres loads of different heatless curl techniques you can do, i've heard the kitchen paper towel one works really well, maybe try that?! and ah thank you so much ❤
