I got a crash course on the jobsite training detaching and attaching one of these trailers. Now work uses me more and more for hauling equipment. I still need assistance getting lined up to reconnect. More practice and I'll get it down to a T! Awesome vid!

I live in TN lol I have noticed since driving semis, when I turn my signal on it s about 90 percent that get over right away and help you and 10 percent that don’t and then in my car it’s complete opposite in Nashville hahaha 🤷🏻‍♂️ guess I’ll just stay in the e semi haha

I love the video. However, at time: 19:28, the tractor, during the off-tracking turn appeared as if it was sort of gliding. The look was a very smooth-like real-time effect on the eyes. Very nice!!!

You think about putting a bigger horn on the truck? lol it’s got that little single one. Maybe 2 regular truck horns? I got the stock 2 truck horns on mine. They sound good. It also always had a train horn on it. We put it on when we started doing work to it. Real loud sounds good. Fits the truck well.

If you don't lower the trailer suspension first, you might damage the trailer suspension. It depends on how the loading goes.

Nice video as i watched it for myself frist time man since i also a Heavy haller my self man there was a key part you should have talked about is the trailer air Support button Witch we all know be for unhooked the air line on the trailer man i you should have Release the air to the trailer so the brakes lock up the trailer then going to the neck then unhooked the lines After hooking the bed up again then u connect the air line then you go back in too the tracker then Resupply the air back to the trailer to unlock the brakes with is a big key point unhooking nd hooking up a lowboy that you forgot to talk about in your video man I was jest pointing out that you should have talked about be for unhooked the trailer man i loveed your video by the way man I wish you luck with your Future loads man hopefully you have a good Career as a heavy haller as i have good one myself it a good paying job brother keep up the good hard work you do brother

Don’t have to do that bro, the brakes lock up once you disconnect the air lines on the neck, it’s the same thing as releasing the valve inside.

Didn't know that lowboys could have a PTo setup and use 2 lines when going with a PTO setup. Since the lowboy trailer you use has a pony motor, less lines to hook up when you are hooked to the lowboy.

Hey bro have you tried deflating your truck airbags first before anything? So when you pull out raise your airbags so the neck won't drag. Then before you connect don't forget to deflate your truck airbags. It's how I used to do it on an eager beaver trailer. Try it out...

This is a old video, I did not have fenders and t bar yet. But when I got my fenders and frame set up for the neck I started to deflate them.

I like the pony motor better, you need 2 hydraulic lines for this trailer if went with PTO kit, and my end dump is one line only.

Pony motor is ok just have to make sure you keep it full of gas but I prefer running it off the truck all you would have to do is add another hose going back to the tank for the return

I have my cab card at 80k gross, but still max out at 120k gross. We just have a yearly permit to load up to 120k gross with the 3 axle lowboy

Yes sir, my dads 95 t800 has a 12.7 Detroit 475hp and we have pulled 336 excavators with it that’s a 90lb machine itself. Obviously truck does struggle a bit thou but definitely can get it done

Truck won’t go back anymore. Even if you are a inch off from one side you can still hook and once you start driving on turns the neck and trailer will fall in place by itself. At least that’s how ours work.

It’s a 2002 and I’m guessing previous owner did not have a PTO. I actually like the pony motor. When I get mine I might get one with a pony motor also.

Grtruckingdemolition Pony motors don’t last forever and can be a pain after 5 years of use ! Trailers now can use both PTO and pony motor , PTOs are stronger and faster but you got 2 new lines to deal with ! If you do get Hydraulic lines , get enough slack and rigging to make it where you can turn like you can now ! Let’s say you blow a line , then your Pony is a solid back up and will last your trailers life time !
