Oooooh yeah so in the game, you can very easily tweak the settings to make the game look insane, and it's in the game itself which the developers need to just implement it by default, it's super easy to do but if you do get the game their are tutorials on how to tweak the settings given in the game to make the game like beatiful, no reshade, no mods, just the game itself

I can't send tweaks here but search up "improve BeamNG graphics" and you'll find a bunch of great videos on how to tweak it, essentially, they use the world editor in beamNG which is super easy to use if you follow the tutorial@@Nikola-wl4sm

The trucks feel and actually act heavy, something I miss in all other truck sims. Every vehicle feels light in ATS, ETS, Farm Simulator, Snowrunner...

Agreed. Beamng is so close to becoming a full on truck sim. They just need to set up the delivery system. Maybe fix the traffic too. Lately all we get from ATS/ETS2 are just new roads to drive on

@@Xpertgamingtech SCS seems to believe that a map is what makes a game. A map is only a canvas: I've been playing Farming Sim for over a decade, and the maps are only a nice place to farm. It's the features and functionality that keep me coming back. The SCS map is the best road-based map in any game, but it's about all that the game offers. I can't even see two of my trucks at a time lol.

Their are delieveries in carreer mode I am pretty sure you have to do the normal delieveries first, by car and then eventually you unlock the option to deliever using commercial vehicles (like trucks), for cars just start by installing the cargo parts in "purchase parts"@@Xpertgamingtech if you ever come to carreer mode I hope it helps :)

@@agentice7718Actually, when you get better gameplay with more realistic interactions, the new maps really come into play.

I stopped buying the cash milking $11 a piece maps for ATS, they are just recreating Wheels Of Steel Across America… not a problem but if you call yourself a simulator a 3 roads city is not okay, it’s the same backs for WOSAA small cities with 2-3 roads… we want new, we want innovation. SCS has become lazy and arrogant, and all the ignoranta praising them on every map release has ruined it. Better sims will come and it will be the downfall of SCS.

@@vladtheimpala218I used to love and be a big fan of ets 2. but I haven't played this game in over a year. it's really boring and the updates that scs brought to ets 2 are just nonsense and it shows laziness, selfishness and not listening to what the community wants. There are people saying that there will be mods to make ets 2 better and scs is letting the community do that without them doing it themselves. If talking about mods I'm definitely excited about snowrunner and mods instead of ets 2. scs was once the king of this genre and they are resting on their laurels. I hope there will be more and more games that simulate the life of truck drivers, because ETS 2 is quite similar to the fact that the player is the truck, not you are the truck driver. 😂

No thanks, Ill take BEAMNGs physics over SCS ugly map, the road lanes in that game are too wide and unrealistic, all for the sake of inclusiveness, so never touching anything SCS again. The gaming industry on vehicles needs an overhall in physics to be as realistic as beamng

SCS maps are downscaled. You can drive across countries (ETS2) or states (ATS) in anything less than an hour of gameplay for short to medium hauls. Then there's the occasional extra long haul (1500miles+) that take two hours in real-time. BeamNG don't need to do that. If they can expand West Coast to say 200-300km(^2) map they'd be set to give you that same amount of time for hauls or even more. BeamNG's cars, trucks, trailers, roads and buildings, or general environment are all 1:1 scale. They use real world dimensioning so it'll be different design. SCS cars, trucks, trailers, roads and buildings are not to scale.

ATS is 7years and ets2 11 years old, of course there look is not up to date No reason to shame them about that point, there are other more reasonable flaws

​@@Turbo1602tiThere's no excuse for SCS to not apply all this. Even BeamNG is 10 years old after its reveal since 2012. BeamNG even goes way back to its predecessor known as Rigs of Rods which was around since 2005.

@@Turbo1602ti BeamNG's engine is also outdated. It started as Torque 3d until the developers completely stripped out all the useless shit. I mean the engine can't even dynamically render open worlds in 2023, reason why maps are small. It's literally older than SCS engine. Again, no excuse for SCS. Even more embarrassing that BeamNG doing all these updates for just $25 in a span of 10 years while SCS keep throwing skins, maps and trucks behind pay walls.

@@kak8895 I wanted to point out with my comment, that it's not so easy and we probably have to wait till scs brings out a new truck sim, with a new engine. I follow many ATS modders and I know how often they struggle to implement something special( even things which sound simple at first), because of the engine limitations

Coupled with the day winches/snatch blocks and tiedowns get added to every trailer, truck or offroaders. It'll make all the trucking sim fanboys more mad. Crashing simulator for the win! The day of reckoning is coming.

​​@@lor7780Let's make it more scary. Imagine cranes get added to the game so we can load the containers ourselves before dispatch. Career mode is going to go crazy in the future. The potential for role-playing different real world careers in the most realistic way possible is going to be unmatched.

@@kak8895 it won’t be anything big until there will be a full scale map and licensed trucks like there in ets2 and ats. Do i hope that beamng will succeed? Yes of course, but it’s not anything close right now to being a worthy opponent of the two truck sims.

​​@@lor7780 The map doesn't need to be an entire continent. Just expanding West Coast to atleast 200km^2 would be amazing for short hauls. They don't need licensed cars to make a better, more engaging simulator. GTA (although arcade) has been a successful franchise without licensed cars and massive maps like SCS games. Plus, they've already beat SCS to randomly generated LTL Freight deliveries. Something we've been asking for a long time. Even better that the weights change in real time as you load and deliver. BeamNG going to be an all round caRPG vehicle simulator in the next 5 years and career mode will show it. It doesn't need to be an opponent to ATS/ETS2 it's already on its own league. There's far too many possibilities with their physics engine to just relegate themselves to semi trucks (though we might see a European semi in future update). They're going to probably dive into construction equipments in the future like you've seen in Rigs of Rods. Can't wait for the team to prove that you don't need 100+ cars/trucks to make an engaging game of endless possibilities.

If you're talking about float shifting then yes it's very possible to do realistically in BeamNG. After update 0.30 released they completely overhauled manual/clutch shifting logic to the point it can be used as a learning tool for real world. You can also double clutch if you want. All this can be done properly without damaging your synchronizers if you know what you're doing.

​@@ElonMuskTI can't wait for devs to finish working on Vulcan and add an extra graphics setting above ultra so people can see BeamNG ain't fucking around. Vulcan brings so much optimization that if done correctly no one will complain about not running the game anymore.

@@coolcat-nq4mj As much as ATS and ETS2 are far from simulation you can't wish that on SCS. Some of the fanbase know they're arcade but still play it anyway. It's the major truck driving game on the market.
