We just left Crystal Beach, Texas, north of Galveston. We left at 10 am and just made it to Dallas! It's 7pm. The traffic was horrible. Not to mention the storms that were coming and going asking I-45 N. We hydroplaned on the highway. It's very dangerous. Stay safe!

O my I use to have a house there! One way in one way out of that lil town. So when the main road floods bad your stuck👍🏼 During hurricane storms there they have actual hurricane party’s they call them😳👍🏼 Believe me there are many that stay with their properties, you may not see them driving the streets but they are there🙏 Stay safe Jonathon🙏

Port Aransas is really nice I have tons of family out in Corpus Christi. My sister decided to stay so my prayers for everyone in its path. Be safe out there.

Yep that is a famous place Corpus Christi always hammered by Hurricanes every decade Watched many videos of Hurricanes hammering the Carribbean islands and reaching Texas Florida sometimes all those easter coast states

Hey JLR.... look, man....here's what you do. Buy one of those little hand held compasses. Hold it out in front of you and spin your body around until the arrow points to the "W". Then run like heck in that direction.

I don’t remember which storm it was, but probably in 1985-86, I was living in New Orleans and they were forecasting that it was going to hit the boot of Louisiana or it was going to hit the boot of Louisiana. My mom talked me into going home to east texaas to ride it out. It started raining as soon as I left New Orleans and it was some very hard rain. The storm ended up coming onshore around lake Charles , made a circle and headed back out into the gulf. It stayed a few days in the gulf and finally went onshore again in Florida. We ended up staying like 2 weeks with my mom . It was a crazy time! I had a 4 yr old and a 5 month old with me! They were such good kids that trip!
