I used to live near Miami in 1973. It used to flood all the time like this. We kids loved playing in the flooded streets catching tadpoles. Our parents didn’t hover over us kids in them Good Ole Daze. We were free range children and I loved it! Sorry thjngs have changed so much these daze. It sucks HARD‼️

When I left NY 40 years ago because it was too expensive to live there, Climate change wasn't known about yet (to me) but I did know about tornados, floods, earthquakes & hurricanes. I was shocked to hear for example that Houston was 105 ft above sea level & yet people actually were moving there! It seemed as crazy as moving to CA with it's earthquakes or to tornado alley! Now with all we know about climate change, it still amazes me that anyone would move to a place like Florida! A sandbar sinking on all shores!
