@@Kittyparcel I'm just assuming since you believe God had no hand in this flood that he didn't have a hand in that flood. Does it take a prophet to make an act of nature relate to God's will? Though Nature itself was formed by God's will. Therefore every tragedy, especially non man made, is the will of God.

Scenes like these are becoming to frequent and all over the world. No one is immune.

This is happening because humans are destroying the planet. We have been decimating wet lands, which protect us from this sort of thing. Much if the destruction is by contamination, filling in, so in. The devastation has an exponential factor because the more if the wet lands are destroyed, the more of a strain on remaining wetlands and other symbiotic ecosystems. Good governments and other systems absolutely need to step in and preserve these things, instead we are funding. Controlling big polluters. I live in Salt Lake City, and this is exactly a perfect example… our big polluters like the mine and refinery, etc, are killing our wet lands and in turn our lake. The Great Salt Lake is dying, and its because our bad government is doing the opposite, and continuing to destroy wetlands and natural habitats. Isnt california burning to the ground? Well, dontcha know, that 90% of the natural wetlands have been destroyed. This is all in a country which favors corporations, roads, parking lots, and growing populations. It absolutely is good vs bad governments, alas we are intertwined, so the bad governments like the usa are screwing the places with good governments.

Yeah this has happened a few times in Australia over the past couple of decades in Queensland & New South Wales which are both warmer parts of Australia that generally have pretty nice weather but every now & again there are crazy storms that overwhelm the drainage systems or burst river banks & so on & if it can happen here it can happen anywhere sad to say.

Similar happened last year in NZ during Cyclone Gabrielle. C.Bola in 88 was similar but there seems to be a greater frequency of these 'inland seas' and hard droughts in some of the other years.

@@rickh3714 Yeah it's hard to really tell if it's getting more frequent or not like I'm almost 40 years of age and I remember when I was a kid we used to have super wet years & super hot/ dry years just like these days & we even had snow down to sea level in Australia when I was around 8 years old which is unheard of in Australia as you'd know yourself. All my grandparents & their friends & family all used to say that the weather goes in 20 year cycles & they had massive bush fires when my father was a kid no different than the fires we are seeing today that have devastated large parts of the country in recent years in Australia & the US & many other countries & even the all-time heat records from around 100 years ago have recorded temperatures that we have only seen a couple of times in recent history. I guess we will find out for sure one way or the other over the next couple of decades.

Jesus came to save those who want to be saved too. ... Everytime God use mother nature, He says so. Otherwise it's just nature doing chaos.

These things happen because of the fallen nature of the world, which WAS PERFECT until Adam and Eve sinned against God, wanting that power for themselves.
