In this video, we're sharing news about a truck and camper that were recently found submerged in the Snake River. The truck and camper need to be removed as soon as possible, as they are posing a risk to the public.

As an old rescue diver this is extremely hard. I have hooked to rigs in the water during the winter and this is an extremely hard dive. I am 67 now and look back on what I have done and the lord was watching over me. Great job!!

My friend. I’m the same age(,born 1955) been a commercial and salvage diver since the mid 1970s traveled all over the world and did every type of job snd a lot of sketchy things. I too thank God for protection

Our family lost a friend to this river, he wasn’t found for a long time. I survived a situation canoeing in a tributary thanks to a life jacket. The river is deceptively smooth on the surface with an iron grip beneath. Respect to the diver…

Tons of respect for the diver. I did a similar recovery of a suv and a boat trailer in the snake river at the manan boat dock in Jefferson county Idaho in November it was absolutely the coldest dive I have done so far. I had to unhook the trailer and rig it to be towed in. After that had to do a second dive to recover the suv. It’s super awesome to watch it come in. This definitely brought back memories.

I was camping a few hundred yards up the river when the truck went in. So glad no one was hurt in the accident and the recovery. Would be awesome to be a part of a recovery someday. Thank you for all you do.

Was the trailer a camp trailer with a body on it when it went in? Did the crash and the river tear it off.

@@vicferrari9380Yes, it was a camp trailer when it went in. I'm not sure who fished the debris from the trailer out of the river. I'm sure that was quite a job also.

@@RCPWDRit's still spread for miles down the river. Most of it is on a gravel bar just before you pop up out of the river bottoms at stinking springs parking lot.

I got washed down stream damn near two miles in the snake when I was younger. It scared the hell out of me. Definitely thought I wasn’t going to make it out at some points. Incredibly powerful river, but so gorgeous too!

That truck had been there a minute I reckon by the growth on it but man did that river pulverize it. Of course tow/drag destroyed it but towing against that current didn't help.

@@pmccoy8924 4 months almost to the day in that river. Had to wait for the farmers to stop crying for water to get it out. It was 13,000 cfs 10 days before this recovery. It was only 4,000 cfs the day we got it out.

Me. D, I have watched you for a while now, on off. As a former resident of Crestline I want to thank you for all that you and your crew did. We lived there for over 20 years, and just couldn’t afford it anymore. I’m pretty sure I saw our old street on your video. You and your crew have hearts of God. Thank you from a distant but nostalgic former resident. I love Crestline but would never go back. Better to live with happy memories than worry about what’s going to happen next.
