Thank you for organizing this along the a-e-i-o-u of English. I tell my students that "new" is like the vav with shuruq and "know" is like the vav with holam. Both times the vav or w is helping make a vowel and not acting like a consonant. Maybe this will help other students!

I too have been studying for 3 years. My friend and I seemed to find Discrepancies . In the sound of vowels and vowels in pronouncing words. It made reading very difficult. He is a doctor, so he is smart, but we shared the same problem and could not start Hebrew B. This programme has helped me over a huge hurdle. Thank you ❤🎉

I would agree with the previous comment, by categorizing the niqqudot into a-e-i-o-u, it is very helpful for English speakers new to Hebrew reading. Many thanks. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your time and lessons. This is a great recourse and I cannot wait until I am able to fluently speak to Yeshua, face to face, in His Father's very own language. Baruch Hashem. Shalom Uvrachah.

The first part of the Messiah´s name is YAHU (YHW), which is the Father´s name YHWH (Yahweh). The second part of the Messiah´s name is SHUA, from the verb yasha, which means to be liberated, be saved, be delivered. So the name of our Adon is YAHUSHUA (Exodus 17:9; Numbers 13:16; cf. Deuteronomy 3:21 & Judges 2:7). Yeshua is the Aramaic version (Nehemiah 8:17).

Old Sage, greetings. Your simple, yet very important recommendation on memorizing Niqqud sounds is very helpful - "the vowel sound of the name of the niqqud" corresponds to A-E-I-O-U. Many thanks! Lawrence

I didn't watch the whole video...did she differentiate between ashkenazi and sefardik pronunciation...where kamaz gadol is actually "aw" not "ah" and hirek gadol is actualy "aye". Tof and Saf are both T's, the other dialect Tof is T and Sof is S. That's why in Brooklyn they say Baurruch and in Staten Island at the Jewish Foundation School they say Baruch.

The only change I would make is to let the audience know that all the vowel sounds in Hebrew are short sounded and not long. You mentioned the bowel sounds as long then change the pronunciation to short. Absurd!
