I wish Maha would do a complete course of the Hebrew language. I love listening to her, and I can understand her pronunciations better than a male speaker.

@zapataj7 The letter ש (shin, sin) can express both "sh" and "s". For example the word ישראל is pronounced "Yisrael". Sometimes you may see a dot on the left hand side of the letter - in this case ש would be "s" and, if the dot is on the right, it would be "sh" as in יש ("yesh"). These dots (niqqudot) are rarely used, though, so you need to remember, which words have which letter, just like with letters "tav" and "tet"

What do you do if you're addressing a mixed, (male and female), or unknown, audience? Is the default plural masculine, feminine, or some hybrid?
@MrOriel781911 жыл бұрын
no, somtimes in hebrew there is another sound 'at but is just for female so it's goes like that: ani shoma'at - at shoma'at- he shoma'at hu-shome'a -ata shome'a -ani shome'a in the plural you'r right just right ani-hu-

Aiuto!!!!! Maha, al presente (participio) i verbi sono vocalizzati tutti con x-O-x-E-x? Ho notato che nei verbi che dai, la prima vocale è sempre O e la seconda è E. Succede sempre o quasi? Se io devo pronunciare un verbo ci devo mettere queste vocali in mezzo?
