All you need to do is follow the commandments, there's 7 categories. You would be considered a righteous gentile if you took things any further. Keep in mind that some commandments are specifically for Jews and it would be a terrible sin for gentiles to attempt them. It's not just a religion... It's a whole culture and a way of life. As an outsider trying to convert, you'll be held at a much higher standard than born Jews to ensure that you're serious and willing to give up everything to serve G-d and the 613 commandments versus 7 as a gentile, lol. Look through the requirements for conversion and see if you're still interested afterwards. (Many of those 613c don't apply to Jews outside of Israel)

It is not a reference to an atonement in the sense of erasing somebody's individual sins. We are well aware of the Church summoning the Archbishop of Canterbury Stephan Langton in the Middle Ages to edit and separate the Jewish Scriptures, in doing so, he allowed the reader to miss important passages throughout the Jewish Scriptures, causing them to take the word of God out of context. We are also aware that the Church summoned the Archbishop of Canterbury Mathew Parker in 1563 to create a new Bible version, and became its editor-in-chief, and along with other scholars, many of them bishops, began creating a new Bible version. As a rule, unless the Hebrew Bible original required change (What?!) the reading of the Bible was retained, those that were not offensive to the Church of England were included, the others were discarded. Tell me, where does it say in the Jewish Scriptures that the Church of England has the authority to add, take away, edit and separate or claim something new? That’s right, it doesn’t. But AFTER Paul progressed past his error and the EXPERIENCE HE HAD WITH MESSIAH on the road to Damascus, Paul kept Torah as we are intended to keep Torah, as the only proper response to the redemption promised to/through Abraham and the resulting great love for YHVH and His Son, Yeshua HaMashiach, that only the redeemed who are filled with the Ruach HaQodesh after and according to the initial fulfillment of that promise (Acts2) can fully know. Now, bear in mind that there is great error within the Church as well as world wide Judaism regarding practices that contradict what each of us "say" we believe, but let every man be found a liar and give worship and praise to the Most High and Torah! That Judaism rejects Torah in the Dt4:2 context is almost as unbelievable as those who know Messiah rejecting Torah in spite of all the commands, teaching and example of Messiah and the Apostles as recorded in 2Peter3:14-17 Matthew5:19, 7:21-23, 1John2:3, 5:3, Rev14:12. Paul did not teach a lawless gospel as some say he did! What was hard for the Jews who accepted Christ is that the law was not required for salvation (by grace alone, just like it was at Mt Sinai), with the EVIDENCE of loving Torah BECAUSE of our redemption, NOT TO EARN IT. Requiring full obedience to Torah for salvation is the same thing as requiring people to be healthy before going to the hospital for healing! The four minimal requirements given to people who were not raised in a Torah-keeping community were pablam/BABY FOOD for people who were being defiled by those four things the day before they were redeemed by the blood of Messiah! Keep in mind that those same spiritual infants who were redeemed by Messiah and giving only four minimal requirements were later severely chastised for not growing in their love for Messiah by taking the meat of the full Torah, and being addicted to milk...BABY FOOD! Most churches, pastors, synagogues and rabbis today are nothing more than MILKMEN peddling baby food to infants whose flesh is fed like an olympic athlete, but who are spiritually anemic because they do not recognize the great COST of their redemption (THE PASSOVER LAMB OF YHVH--ISAIAH53:1-12) due to the darkness of their sin, which they are not convicted of because they have NOT HEARD THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD which convicts men of their sin, pointing them to seek God's Grace on GOD'S TERMS: MESSIAH and teshuvah (which is evidence...not works)! Judaism should have followed the Prophets and Gamaliel more than the rich unbelieving Sadducees and man-centered legalistic Pharisees that ended up ascending the ranks of their leadership...just as the Hebrew followers of Messiah who had a foundation in Torah should have been respected for being chosen by Messiah as good shepherds who give their lives for the flock, rather than the majority-rule striving that those who believed Messiah among the goyim fell into...rejecting their own "goads"/teachers who brought the light of Truth to them! See the difference in the reactions of Messianic Ephraim-of-the-nations (My first born of the Spirit--Jer31:9) and Judah upon the return of Messiah in Zechariah10:7 vs 12:10...and seek these truths of YHVH directly, as He encourages us to reason together with Him, with a pure heart that is willing to cast everything including the opinions of important people in your life at His feet to love and obey Him with your whole heart. Who would expect less from their spouse? (!) If we hold such high expectation of our own husbands and wives, how could the expectations and requirements of YHVH Eloheinu be any less? Thank you for your great love and patience with us, Abba. We lift up your Name as you command, and are delivered from darkness into your great Light, YHVH Eloheinu! Thank you for redeeming us by the blood of your own Son as you promised Abraham and confirmed through the Prophets that you sent us. May we ALL keep Torah because we love YHVH and the Truth that He gave us through the Law of liberty that can set us free from death according to our God's great love and power. The 2 sticks of Ez37 will come together in the hand of God when we are BOTH already firmly planted within the hand of YHVH by our obedience (love for Him) as expressed by keeping Torah (the wedding ketubah between YHVH and Israel, which included a mixed multitude) in the Dt4:2 context...EXCLUSIVELY, like any good Bride would love her husband...THE WAY of Messiah!
