The Lord always keeps His promises. In the stories of His people, Israel, there is but a need to cry out and turn from what they know to be wrong; then He promises to go before them in any battle. As a christian I believe this remains the case for all Israel as promised Abraham was promised a nation forever. I also believe this for the individual, look to the Lord, turn from all you know to be wrong in His sight and He will be with you in whatever happens in your life.
