I LOVE & appreciate your honesty and the realness in your videos, none of us are perfect as much as some like to think they have it ALL figured out, they don't, we all have issues, parenting is HARD!!!! Its stressful ASF, but at the end of the day it's all worth it, you are doing an amazing job, you are so strong and so relatable!! I know I don't cook every night, lol maybe three times a week ON A GOOD WEEK lol we eat frozen food too, or take out, and most of the time I look a hot mess but I'm at home, caring for kids, just trying to make it through the day so I don't care lol one thing we can say, your kids are well taken care of and are thriving so there is nothing wrong with showing the REAL, the ugly, the sad, the mad, lol it is life!!!!

Hey Rach! I have a hack for those bed railings! You can take pool noodles and cut them open. Place them over the railings and secure them down with zip tie. This will act as a safe and secure buffer so to prevent gnawing and accidents! I work with kiddos on the spectrum that have this issue and it works like a charm.

Adorbs as usual. Here’s a little grandmotherly advice. I see an accident in the making when Blakey climbs on the kitchen counter. She doesn’t know the danger since that’s where you always put her for feeding. Maybe she would like her own high chair like Beckham. I have been through what you’re going through. When my son was about Blakely’s age, he pulled a cord hanging over the edge of the counter. It was iron and it fell right on his head! Ouchie. Be extra careful about hanging computer cords etc so nobody gets hurt. This is quite a dangerous age b/c they get into everything and see no danger or fear. Watch out for the electrical outlets too. This is all out of love. ❤️

This is probably nothing but when you mentioned Beckham chewing on his bed railing if he does that on other wood surfaces or non-editable items it could be a sign of PIKA. It might be worth bringing up to his feeding therapist. I only thought to mention it because he has oral aversions. If he is awake off and on during the night also he could just be seeking out stimulation of some sort which may lead to him chewing as something to do. In case of the latter you could look into chewy toys (more grown up versions of baby chew toys typically used by kids on the autism spectrum for oral stimulation) so it stops him needing to chew on the bed.

Ur doing a great job!!!! Ur house looks like mine when the kids are home. And dinner looks about the same. I do cook, however my kids dont like anything, they are so picky that dinner pretty much is chicken nuggets, ramen noodles, pizza or mac n cheese. Thanks for showing that life isnt always perfect ❤

I would offer Blakely a vegetable like stringbeans even if she doesn't eat it. She will become familiar with it and might take a bite. Even a slice of fruit like apples, melons, etc. Sometimes they take a bite out of curiosity from seeing it so much. You could take a bite saying good and then walk away

OK. We always talk about Beckham and Blakely. Now it’s your turn Rachel. You are so patient and loving. You’re beautiful inside and out and have an adorable figure. In spite of how extremely busy you are you still take time for yourself and keep yourself beautiful for your loving husband (I miss seeing him). You deserve to have compliments too. Blakely might like to be served a plate of food and have silverware. She might surprise you. My kids eat chicken nuggets too, but I cook a frozen veggie and slice a fruit. Really from 9 months up they can eat 2-3 things at each meal, 3 times a day, maybe even a snack. It would help her give up the bottles. I think pediatricians these days don't like to be the bad guy and teach parents about proper meals and nutrition. None of it even needs to be hard, Lord knows I don't cook. And it might help to have a meal at the table with her sometimes, family meals are an old fashioned thing of the past but children learn from watching us eat.

You’ve mentioned a couple times I believe that blakely brushes her own teeth. I’m guessing you just didn’t show it, but in just in case, be sure you have a “turn” brushing her teeth yourself properly. Dentists recommend brushing your children’s teeth till age 7 or so because their unable to do it properly before then.

Maybe cut a slit in a pool noodle and slip it over the rails of the bed and to prevent him from being able to eat the noodle, I'd wrap it with a duck tape or something so he can bite, but won't get nothing :)

Lots of chicken nuggets in this house also! And an air fryer is a life saver for every meal 😂 Edit- Beckham is a CHAMP at teethbrushing lol. It is a full WWE wrestling match with my 3 year old for brushing teeth.

I use Cetaphil cleanser also and the Cetaphil moisturizer. Don't sweat the small stuff girl. Crap happens especially when you are dealing with kiddos. I cracked up when u said by 6 they are losing their shit lol. My two that I care for start losing their shit around 5 so I totally felt that. lol. Sissy having a picky phase is normal at that age. Just be patient and keep introducing different foods. Try to make it fun..my two are picky as well and we tell them they need to try all their food so they can be strong like Hulk Smash. I also do no thank you bites. As far as sis going after your laptop I was wondering if maybe you got a toy laptop for sissy so she could "work" with mommy maybe that would distract her from yours. Just a thought. Beckham seems to be tolerating his new toothbrush well. He seemed really happy. You are doing great Rach and so are they ❤️🙏

Guess what I do not know how to make chicken nuggets. All my food is home made and we always ate two meals a day together as a family. I found a strict routine very helpful both for me and my 4 kiddies.

Make a little play room for your daughter so she can have a table and chairs and a play kitchen of her own so she can play and she will leave her brother alone for awhile
