We are currently using the Winchester super x .44 mag bullet. 240gr. But I don’t thing it makes a huge difference as long as you hit them in the right place.

I was curious I have the Rossi 44 mag in a 20 in barrel stainless

Unfortunately pistols aren’t legal in New Zealand unless you have a special licence and you can’t use them for hunting. They would be ideal for pig hunting though. We often do have dogs that hold the pigs so we can just use a knife but a lot of those videos get age restricted because it doesn’t fit with KZfaqs community guidelines. Dogs holding pigs etc. that’s why we now have dogs that just bark to keep the dogs in position while we get there and shoot them.
