It does say until the end of the turn, so I imagine RAI it's supposed to be once per phase, they probably meant only the first command. It will still be exceptionally strong, but certainly not overpowered purely because the units you can put it on all have limits. Lord of pain/hubris have 6" move, you can run around that, keepers can easily be shot off the board turn 1, contorted epitome has no durability, much riskier etc.

Yes,its a joke as a supposed glass cannon army as slanesh have been made one of the more tanky armys of the aos now, a armywide -1 to hit and 5++ is beyond broken and worse because with this new book slanesh can get easily 40 depravity each turn

It’s always a risk to buy powerful units before an FAQ so it’s wise if you wait… or jump in if you love the model

The book ended up being very skewed towards Pretenders. People want to use more of a mixed arms force but sadly it turned into blissbarb archer spam

You absolutely can run a combination of mortals and daemons. You will find some of the rules will only benefit one side (mortals or daemons).

Guess it depends where you are offering the dice. Can I afford to take the D3 mortal wounds each time… how you use it will be critical to your successes and failures

@@meezith1418 Not really. Euphoric can be good or can be terrible. Assuming you are able to charge something turn one you could get something our of it. Chances are you wont however if your opponent know what he is doing. He can either bait you with a sacrificial unit (that has a low wound count) for counter-charge or just stay out of your range. On his turn your opponent does not have to care about Euphoric killer since it only applies on your combat phase. Make it work in both played combat phases to give your opponent something to think about and know were talking. Again I dislike how the mechanic feels like the power is in your opponents hands on whether or not you are getting your points.

They are exactly very vulnerable to the opponent's choice aside of the fact that it's a d6 meaning you will roll some 1s and 2s which will screw you over. It should be 2d3 DP to at least avarage something worth it. Ward saves can basically cancel the effect.

Just have sacrifice units to generate depravity in the combat phase if you're scared of your opponent denying you your temptation dice

Seekers, blissbarbs archers, daemonettes and hellstriders are all battleline. I BELIEVE (anyone correct me if I'm wrong) painbringers and twinsouls are battleline with a lord of pain or lord of hubris general.

I honestly don’t recall the Revers part. They did have 3 shots each which got crazy at times

I can see the arguement that they can go down but there are a lot of strong boosts to KoS so it's hard to gauge where the right points are for them. 400 is alot... but it did get boosted

I think you will see more list diversity just because we've seen more units glow up. A strong build will emerge but it won't be a set of auto include units

Synessa and Dexcessa are in a funny spot at the moment. I'm not sure if I would run them over the other units... they still have play and I love the models

@AoS Coach Agreed. Synessa was fun in some cases, but Dexcessa never really seemed to... fit. Ithink she needs to either hit harder or give buffs to units. But yes, I was mostly frustrated because I wanted to show off the models! Lol. They're great!

@@sururu6 its pretty strong I completely agree. But is it really that op? Your enemy can still deny you depravity. And when you get striked hard in the first 2 rounds it can be quite tough imo. But only theorycraft. Perhaps it's op xD

Firstly, the warscrolls improved and so did the allegiance which is a good thing... if the points are too high they can always bring it down. I'd rather that than a bad warscroll

The new alligience abilites go hand in hand with the new warscolls. if you play 5 painbringer 145 with a 5+ ward, 6 hit mortals, - 1 to get hit - thats quite a strong general unit!

This isn’t a buff. This is a mechanics rework. The mechanics in the previous edition were do dense that it led to exhaustion for long term play. Hedonites were still playable before, they just required more finesse and being cheap about how you gained Depravity. This rework resolves much of the complexity that plagued Hedonites before.

@@AoSCoach I agree, points cost is easier to patch and more convenient for us all but I dislike when a new book needs a patch 2 weeks after release. But I may be wrong, I ain't no AoS coach :D
