The antlers the women were wearing were from female reindeer (Domesticated caribou). Female reindeer are the only species of deer that keep their antlers all winter. I love the female power in this video.

Hi: The lyrics for this piece are mainly taken from bracteates: golden, circular coins or amulets found in Northern Europe that date from the 4th to 7th centuries CE. They are often fitted with a decorated rim and loop, which indicates that they were meant to be worn and perhaps provide protection, fulfil wishes or for divination. The bracteates feature a very significant iconography influenced by Roman coinage. They were predominantly made from Roman gold, which was given to the North Germanic peoples as peace money. In Anoana, the listener has the chance to delve into a collection of likely encoded spells from the Migration Period and get a touch of magic from the Dark Ages. The intention of the piece is to playfully reconnect to an incantational language of a period where the North was richer in gold than any other region. Our forefathers presumably enjoyed a time of great prosperity and it may make us rethink how dark these ages real Above the sign on the womb of the giving birth mother is probably a painted version of Ægirs Hjelm/Aegishjalmur/Ægishjálmr ("Ægir's Helmet"), which is a symbol described in the Poetic Edda as a symbol of ultimate protection, physical, mental and spiritual referred to as protection against all kinds of fear "Ægir/Ægi" means "Sea" in both dialects of Old Norse and is also the name of the personification of the sea. "Ægir's Gate", describes the eddies that drag ships to the bottom of the sea. Ægir / Ægi has often been described as an old man with a long white beard, and to see him standing still in the water was a bad omen, as he surfaced to drag people and ships to the bottom of the ocean. Ægirs Hjelm is described in the Poetic Edda in a stanza with a shape-shifting dragon, Fafner, whose blood is poisonous. The dragon guards a treasure and, with the help of Ægirs Hjelm's spell, is invincible. In The Galdrabók, the symbol is also described as something "you wear on your forehead, between your eyebrows"). In any case, this must be taken with tweezers since it may be wrong. About the solar eclipse perhaps these images would be connected with the symbol of the black sun. For the ancients, the sun was the source of life, as it provided them with heat and energy. The lack of him was just the opposite. For the ancient peoples, it seems that the periodicity and continuity of day and night made us think not only of the existence of 1 sun, but of two suns, one bright and luminous and the other black. One represented life and the other death. This could be translated as the balance between light and dark and its connection to the world of the dead and the living. In it, the dawn of the day was interpreted as the rebirth of life and its renewal. That is why eclipses were so important for all primitive and ancient cultures: When the sun disappeared in broad daylight, they predicted that eclipses would bring about great changes, or that even in the worst case, the world could come to an end. As for the drum that Christopher Juul handles and the symbol that is drawn on it, it bears a certain resemblance to the kolovrat and the black sun, but I have not been able to find any that really come close, so the question is whether this symbol, what Have the members of the group created it as something aesthetic for the video, or if that symbol really exists in the Nordic culture, but I am not able to find anything about it at the moment. The answer certainly lies with the members of the musical group Heilung or some archaeologist specialized in Nordic culture. This is the original letter: [María] Athilr Rikithir Ai Eril idi Uha Ijalh Fahd Tiade Elifi An It Athilr Rikithir Ai Landawariar Año Ana Fahd Tiade Elifi An It Aelwao Ano Ana Tuwa Tuwa Tau Liu Ano Ana Tuwa Tuwa [Kai] UL FOS LAU LAL GWUL PED UL ULD AUL LEI ELw ATH RET LAE TyS Otro REI GUI AU AU LA OA SEJS ZUL AU AL HaR HaS Ka TIL AZ Ha IR EL UNOZ LEIT Una DZ GUI UI THUL UHNG Ur OI WHUG DIT La La LIH LaL Ur USK GLa Jue LAL La La La TLG Jue TiL Ur Ur Ur Ur Gel THuL So Oth LAU IA TyL LI RAI WUI IL DAI TU Han UTH A IUr EL AL Dan An ERUI AL EIZ An RA TIU An KU AK The language is proto-norse. The language that the people living in scandinavia during the migration periode spoke in.Pre-viking era. The only words of Anoana's handwriting that are known with certainty is Landawariar (Protector of the land) A hug.

The symbol on the drum: I think it's a stylized sun wheel (or "Kolovrat" if you want to use that term). A black sun would be weird - allthough there are a couple of old artifacts that come close to it's design, the "true" black sun, as i understand it, is purely a nazi symbol.
@Nidels
@Nidels Жыл бұрын
@@Hednar He had heard that the black sun was a symbol used by the Nazis, although at first he was not too sure if they adopted it from other pagan peoples of northern Europe. The black sun, as I have been able to investigate, is an esoteric symbol of alleged Germanic pagan roots, although they have never been verified with specific archaeological references. It seems that it represents the twilight of the gods, in other words the battle of the end of the world or Ragnarök. Apparently this symbol derives from ancient Slavic symbols such as the already named Kolovrat and is made up of 12 Sowelo runes, known as the rune of the sun. Thanks for your comment. A hug.

I have to say I love reaction videos like yours. I hate it when non-experts who are reacting to something for the first time constantly pause the video to comment. Doing that pulls you out of whatever connection the artist was trying to make with you. But you were perfect. Said your little bit at the beginning and at the end while letting the artists put their work on display as they intended. Awesome job. Glad you enjoyed it. I am obsessed with this song.

Can I just add some points that are important in seeing this? The most important being that the child is born under an eclipse (seen in background several times). After the birth you see a circular path of darkness which is one of the possible destinies for the child, and it scares the mother. According to previking believes they (those born under eclipses) had very special gifts: hamnskifte (= the ability to change appearance), age shift, talking to animals, healing (of the bird) etc The previking time and it's religion in nordic countries is much more female oriented than the religion in the later years (with viking gods like Tor and Oden... ). Also healing of the bird. They sing in a reconstructed version of the previking proto norse language.... The bracteates are the starting point for this tale, because they are one of the few "written" recordings of this language. But Sweden and Norway are also full of drawings (hällristningar = rock carvings) as memory of them. Example en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Carvings_in_Tanum Caveat: I did publish similar comments to other reactor earlier, but I do think this is important in order to appreciate it

Yes few know of these type of people. Many cultures back then knew how to perform the ritual to essentially bring a god into human form by a psychotropic cocktail given to the mother during gestation and gives birth under certains astronomical timings. Most babies and people known historically in secret had blueish or green skin and had powers and abilities to help humanity and nature. Now humans are subjected to the pharmaceutical experiment to suppress our natural abilities.

@@PatrolNation 100% agree with everything @earthbone8562 said. Reaction videos are a fun little -guilty- pleasure for me....but hands down the #1 most frustrating thing on earth is when people pause the video, almost always to say some variation of "wow, that was like, um so good." I enjoy reaction videos for people's *_reactions_* not for their uninteresting commentary every 15 seconds. Talk all u want after the song. But music is literally a time-based art-form...which means pausing it literally alters the entire context of what it IS. And it constantly ruins the emotional arc and flow and catharsis the builds and builds in a really good song. I get the copyright issue...unfortunately. But most reactors pause WAY more than that even requires. It seems like 90% of reaction channels literally do not understand what their viewers actually get out of reaction channels. They mistakenly think we like watching a person talk over a song while saying nothing remotely interesting or substantive. Glad this channel is, apparently, not like that. Finally lol....

Heilung is a stunning group. Also, if anyone liked them, then please! I beg you, go check out Wardruna! “Raido” “White Raven” “Healing Mountain” “Isa”… they are absolutely stunning. This was a wonderful review. 🙌🏼 Also-Healiung is touring the USA right now and my friend got to go see them and he said there is nothing like it in the world and i think he is a changed man. Lol no but for real, they’re awesome and their shows are amazing. Look up some of their live gigs that have been uploaded and listen with good earphones/buds.

In the magical disciplines, there were male an female aspects. I know that today, this might sound antiquated, but for magic, it's an necessity. What I love about this performance is the clear separation. In todays situation, it's fairly refreshing.
