Heimdallr HMSC. Champagne Super Diver. What a Stunner!

Sometimes looking backwards pays. Everyone is over the watch from last month already that got me thinking... what about quality watches released 2 years ago!? They have been completely forgotten about but I bet there are some real gems. And I was right.
This Heimdallr Dive watch is an homage to the Seiko 6309 dive watch form the 1976 to 1980 era. It has been over-shadowed by the Seiko Willard and the Seiko 62MAS but it is still a beautiful case design.
Good quality Dive watch homages are pretty hard to find...I mean real quality versions. I rate this one highly.
This is my first champagne dial watch and it is also my first Heimdallr watch...you can bet it won't be my last Heimdallr watch!
This dive watch has all the attributes you could want. Stunning case, champagne dial, 300m water resistance, strong 120click bezel and a logo to die for!

I think the Heimdallr HMSC11 is one of the best budget dive watches you can buy...and wit till you see the price :)

Excellent review. Back in 2020 I bought the San Martin, the Steeldive and the Heimdallar versions of the Seiko 6105. The 3 of them were/are fantastic watches, specially if one shops during a sale. After a few months I kept only the Heimdallr and it is today my daily beater. Reasons: the finishing, perfect alignment, price and the shark logo!

Thanks for the review 👍. There just a few things that put me off it, short hands and lint magnet straps, but the quality and finish look great. If they did a grenade dial, I could be tempted.

I own this and bought this when I first saw it on Aliexpress. I knew I had to have it because there was no champagne dial watches. It is one of my favorites that came with a very comfortable rubber strap. I used to wear a color matched Nato with it but it didn't always fit very well. I might switch it out later if I want some variety. The lume is great. Has drilled lugs. The bezel has some playback and I wish that the crown was signed. The bezel has a nice, satisfying click when turned. I love the bezel side texture which makes gripping easy. The bezel insert is ceramic. I used this watch when I went kayaking. I was in the river and it performed well. I'm not sure why more people review this watch. It seems to be under the radar but a very good watch.

Ah yes, here it is! 😉 Another great review and a cool watch! Very attractive dial. I believe that bezel insert is probably ceramic. Seiko is famous for their big watch case design with short lug to lug to suit slimmer wrists.

Too chunky for me, but wow, that is an attractive piece. I agree, the Heimdallr shark is probably one of the better logos to have come out of AliExpress. Oh, and thank you for the descriptive thumbnail.

Bought this during the recent sale after seeing your initial unboxing and for the price it cannot be beaten. Owned and got rid of addiesdive. This in my opinion is much higher quality and as a bit of a bonus mine on the wrist is running almost perfectly at around +1sec day. Absolutely blown away by this one. I own a few San Martin, Cronos, Sugess and think value for money wise this beats them all. Had a spare silver grey nato from an old Seiko and it looks stunning on this watch. Keep up the great reviews 👏

That dial is sumptuous but the divers strap is a bit of a lint monster. It’s gorilla sized too and great lume. Don’t own a heimdallr, will have to watch for it in the sales

Neither was I. That's why I had to see it for myself. Weird combination in pics but if I am honest, this is one of my favourite watches from AliExpress! Never say never :)

Great review 👍. When I bought the black dial version, the bezel was described as ceramic. The champagne dial does look great.

Good to know. My Diamond Selector ll is toast. Thought it needed batteries but it is a "deceased diamond selector" 😆

Great watch, but I don't like the font they used for the printing on the dial. That's a personal preference thing, however.

The case shape and dimensions are perfect....in my top two case shapes....not a fan of the champagne on this style of watch but that's extremely subjective....🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚

A Diamond Selector II would help you tell if the insert is ceramic or Sapphire, most likely Ceramic. Great honest review.

Looks really good in the champagne colour John to big for me but finishing Looks as good as my seiko Land tortoise i recently got.I will wait for the Tandorio review as that looks good dimension wise Great content as usual

You'd be surprised how good these wear even on small wrists, lug to lug of 47mm is right in the sweet spot. I only have 6.5" wrists and can wear them fine.
