FYI: The reason they say the "Color" of Observation is very important. If you just say Observation Haki, without knowing what Haki actually means, you could think it is something separate from let's say Armament Haki. Some people already think, you "unlock" different Haki "Powers" separate from each other because of that. BUT THAT IS JUST WRONG Haki is the base for all. It is manifested Ambition. Willpower if you want. You would not say you unlocked a whole new separate part of Willpower, would you? And that is why the COLOR analogy is used. Your Will shows the Color of Armament. Your Will developed the Qualities of a King, so now it is showing its colors... etc

One of the things I liked about katakuri was that it showed us that a person his tier has trained one particular haki to advanced level but to be a yonko you kind of need to have surpassed that and teacher advanced for every tier as we see with most everyone but Blackbeard (and shanks but he’s the haki man be fr) so the fact that luffy was able to master the 3 advanced levels shows why katakuri chilled out on him cause he sort of understood his potential

Hors d'oeuvre is a french terme and yeah it basically refers to something you'll eat before the main dish(es) to be even angrier and more hyped by the main dish(es). The tricky thing in french is that some letters are written but not pronounced. The "s" from "hors" isn't pronounced so it sounds like "or" rather than "horse" as surprising as it sounds.

She is wide awake and reminiscing lol Not saying that kidd and law don't deserve their props for that fight because imo they certainly do, and aren't really given enough credit tbh. But big mom was underestimating the two for what was pretty much the whole fight, even when she acknowledged their fighting prowess. Its kinda like losing to your little brother in a game you know you're better in overall, but lost in the first place because you felt the need to get a point across that you're that much better, leading to you fumbling and your little brother getting advantages over you that they normally wouldn't get lol (Not to say its not her fault she lost but yk, probably would've been different if she took things as seriously as she should've)

Because she's one of the strongest people in the series, has one of the most interesting settings in the series, is connected to interesting lore, is pretty frightening, has what is probably the most interesting crew out of any of the ones we have seen (love kaido but his crew for the most part is pretty boring. they have the smile fruits but I know Im not alone when I say that I only really recognize or even care a single bit about a very very small few while big mom's crew felt very diverse and interesting even in design), most people agree that she has more depth so far than kaido, was a constant threat for basically the entire arc that was already set up to be someone to avoid fighting at whatever cost because even with the whole crew, they would not stand a chance, she's cruel, and has one of the coolest devil fruits in the whole series that we know of. Ofc not saying you have to like her but big mom isn't just appreciated as a villain for being one of the 4 emperors
