Enligt min blygsamma mening, detta är Sveriges mest talangfulla sångare. Någonsin. Underbara Helen. ❤️ In my humble opinion, this is Sweden's most talented singer. Ever. Wonderful Helen. ❤️

This always makes me cry. The melody is achingly beautiful, with arched phrases (reminiscent of The Winner Takes it All), and Helen Sjöholm’s voice is exquisite.

Helen Sjöholm is a godesss, She sings those songs with so much emotion, delicassy and class. No need to say technically flawless, but the emotional depth puts her above everyone else.

One of the single most natural voices and talents in the world. What a woman full of sheer wonder and beauty. You can not beat that. Helen Sjoeholm is in the same category as Piaf, Garland, Houston, Streisand and Andrews. Authentic authority.

Helen Sjöholm sings with such depth of feeling--from one heart to another. It's such a pleasure to follow her every word, whether in Swedish or in English.

I’ve been a fan of Benny Andersson for years because of his (and Bjorn Ulvaeus) songwriting for ABBA but even if he hadn’t written numerous unforgettable songs for them, “Someone Else’s Story” would be his masterpiece.

I love her voice- it's so clear and pitch perfect. There are also so many wonderful surprises when she floats the notes instead of belting them. It's such a subtle intimate interpretation-- just beautiful.

I can't believe the comment by joshgardell. This woman's English is absolutely perfect and shows a thorough understanding of each word. I'm both an English language teacher and a singer and the diction doesn't come much better than this!!

@JG H Helen sings this better than Agnetha would ever have been able to sing it live. Helen has much more control over tone and pitch, particularly in the higher register

Mm... 🤔... After Frida Lyngstad you want to say?? I love Helen, she is amazing but...without Frida (and also Agnetha) but specially without Frida HE IS A GREAT MUSICIAN the the of the century and i ADORE HIM but the fame came bc of ABBA and a huuuge part of the success were bc of the voices of the girls among other thing because the lyrics and music was exquisite also. But be rational hahahaha.

I don't like this song when it's belted. It's meant to be more philosophical than emotional. It reminds me of how Agnetha sang "The Day Before You Came"

I just happened to hear Helen’s amazing talent in a Burt Baccarat medley video after learning of his passing, and she stood out among the cast of singers, who were good but ordinary. Then she stepped on stage and sang Arthur’s Theme. There are singers and then there are singers. She’s the latter.

Hands down, one of the best videos on KZfaq. A fantastic interpretation by Helen, and the fact that the song remains as emotional without the big orchestra, only a piano backing her up, shows the strength of the composition - one of the best musical numbers ever, in my opinion. The English lyrics are also superior to the Swedish ones (although they are also very good). I would love to see a stage version of "Chess" in the original language with Helen Sjöholm and Tommy Körberg. *****

You have got to be kidding me. The low notes don't "waver", I hear nothing wrong with them in the least. Her voice has such amazing *control* over every note and pitch. It's beautiful. I don't know why everyone insists on comparing the two women. They both sound amazing, and seeing as they have two different vocal styles, they sound very different. I love both. They're individual interpretations of the same song, and if you prefer the other, watch that.
