Learn to make 3D Spheres in Illustrator and how to light them and fill them with patterns.
Making a sphere in Illustrator is simple using the 3D tools. It might sound complicated but it is easy enough for even a beginner Illustrator user to do. In this video you will learn to make a number of spheres in Illustrator from colored spheres light with simple lighting to spheres which have a pattern of dots on them. You will learn to quickly make the dot pattern and save it as a symbol so you can map it to the surface of a sphere.
You will also see how to add shine to the sphere so you have a semi glossy sphere as a result.
These spheres will make a good logo design and are fun and easy to make.
