Hi.. yes I know, I realized the slight discrepancy after the video was already uploaded. The scriptures are KJV (particularly when Charles Lawson is reading the passage *(Matthew 5: 17-23),* but the citation of the version mentioned says NKJV. I simply decided to leave it as is because it truly doesn’t make a difference since it says the same thing without the few words in 16th century English.. ie: “ye”, “thou” and the truth of the message is still preached/displayed.

The Scripture declares in *(1 John 1: 9),* _”If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”_ Continue to keep your trust in Him.. Jesus is ever so faithful! 🙏🏾

Jesus in His Word talked about Hell more than He talked about Heaven. The way He describes Hell should make one not want to end up there. The Scriptures are quite clear, *NOT* everyone in the end will be saved because we definitely know that many will choose in the end to reject what Christ taught. Jesus very clearly taught in Matthew 7 that many will choose the wide and easy road to destruction, and that only "few" would choose the path to Eternal Life *(Matthew 7: 12-27).* The Bible is adamant that not everyone will enter God's kingdom but some will be raised for everlasting contempt and annihilated in the Lake Of Fire The Eternal Salvation plan offered by the Lord is universal to all, but it's acceptance and compliance is *NOT* universally applied to all ..for *NOT* all by their own volition, will come to repentance but all will have many chances to repent before each one's respective final outcome. You are completely wrong in your assessment, and the verse you cited *(Jeremiah 7:31)* is completely taken out of context - it has nothing to do with hellfire, at all! The verse you cited is about God's open rebuke to the Israelites who pretended to love God, but did not, They consistently, persistently and pervasively practiced false, pagan, idolatrous Baal worship - which included human sacrifice/child sacrifice as burnt offerings to the false (demonic) gods. It was man-made, human temporary fire.. not God-made, God-ordained eternal fire. Jesus Himself talked about hell and spoke of it more than He did about heaven during His 3.5 yr ministry. It was Jesus who said in *(Matthew 25: 41),* _"Then shall he (God, Our Heavenly Father) say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:"_ Hell/hellfire was mot made for mankind, but God will most certainly use it for those who choose to remain in sin and rebellion against Him by rejecting His plan of Eternal salvation through Jesus Christ - up until they breathe their last breath and face eternal judgment. This is what is truly repugnant in the eyes and nostrils of God, Our Heavenly Father. Blessings!

@@henreeeef3214 The Second Death is not simply a cessation of life, it's an eternal death. The Second Death is reserved for unbelievers. Those who experience this death are all those whose names are NOT found written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Eternal death, (aka the Second Death), is the ultimate form of separation. If a person/unbeliever dies in a state of spiritual death, they will experience the Final Judgment and complete eternal separation from God. Once a person has experienced the "second death" there is no hope for them, it is irreversible *(Revelation 21: 8).* We know the Second Death is eternal, for scripture tells us in *(Revelation 14: 11),* _"And the smoke of their torment ascends _*_forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night,_*_ who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."_ And in *(Revelation 20: 10),* _"The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. _*_And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."_* This is the same place unbelievers will go, for all eternity.

Hi..Thanks for replying. While I agree with the idea that some translations are corrupt and horrible, not worthy to be used for Scripture, the KJV itself is NOT a perfect translation, though it’s very good one. The only perfect translation would be the original writings of Scripture which was Hebrew, Aramaic and NT Greek. God Himself doesn’t speak in 16th century English. The scriptures posted before Pastor Lawson’s sermon, say the same thing whether it’s KJV or NKJV (w/out 16th century-Elizabethan English prose). As well as a side note, it’s not NKJV that Pastor Lawson is preaching from. It’s a typo in the video - just decided to leave it as, for it didn’t make a difference.

Hi.. I don’t believe that’s correct understanding especially concerning the issues of Heaven and Hell. The primary preposition in NT Greek that is often used is the Greek word “eis” - meaning: in, into, unto, to, towards, for, among, behold, throughout Hell and Heaven are definitely real places in the eternal realm. Jesus Himself said that hell/eternal damnation was _“prepared for the devil and his angels”_ *(Matthew 25: 41).* The scriptures declare in *(Revelation 20: 13),* _”And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and _*_death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:_*_ and they were judged every man according to their works.”_ Jesus said in *(Matthew 6: 9-10),* _” After this manner therefore pray ye: _*_Our Father which art in heaven,_*_ Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”_ In order for these verses (and many more) to make any sense is that they are real places, not illusionary or figurative. Hell is real, Heaven is real.

Friend.. that’s incorrect assessment of my supposed “exegesis”. There’s an assumption being made that just because there’s a primary preposition in use that therefore means every sentence structure with those primary prepositions must be seen as either strictly literal only or strictly figurative only, in every case of use. That is the premise of your initial argument since you feel that heaven or hell are not literal places, just figurative only. That is an incorrect premise simply due to the fact that the Greek language is dynamic, fluid and filled with nuances. The context wherein the sentence exists, also plays a key understanding of what is being said. So with that in mind, regarding the word “righteousness” where the same primary preposition is used.. understanding the context of the verse(s), it’s not talking about a literal physical place but a state of being/state of continuous existence - only found in and through Christ. The word “righteousness” means to be in “right standing”. So in other words a true believer in Jesus (Yeshua) Christ who has accepted him as Lord & Saviour is at a place of right-standing in and before God. For it’s in God righteousness we stand, not our own human righteousness.

You're basically doing the equivalent of thinking " trouble " is a place if I said " I'm in trouble ". In addition, you originally responded to me like I said heaven and hell aren't real, I merely said they aren't places. So you also fail by inserting a false dichotomy. Maybe one day you'll_actually_study the scriptures :)

I said heaven and hell are real places refuting your premise that they’re not places, which in turn makes them illusionary/figurative which is your argument. Also I cited scriptures which indicate that heaven and hell are places. No false dichotomy present. Secondly, re-read carefully what I said regarding the fact that the Greek language is nuanced/dynamic and that it’s not strictly literal or strictly figurative when there’s a primary preposition. Depending on the context and construct of the verse, one will get the proper understanding. So you’re presenting a false argument when you said, “you’re basically doing the equivalent of thinking trouble is a place if I said: I’m in trouble”. No .. I’m not doing that. Stating “I’m in trouble” in this context is presenting a current state of being. Which is what I said in regards to your prior query about the word, “righteousness” in scripture. You’re using wrong assumption and faulty reasoning. Side note: I find it interesting that most scholars agree overwhelmingly that the translation found in KJV is in fact correct. For the scholars who produced the translations were fully aware of the meanings the prepositions have with the different cases. Hopefully one day you’ll re-study the scriptures so you have a better understanding of what is being said and not rely simply on false assumptions or misunderstanding of scriptural text.. 🙂
