I made a post but you may not have seen it. But enemy garrisons only take 30 seconds to dismantle when they are three grid squares deep or further into enemy territory. If they are within two grid squares into enemy territory they still only take five seconds to dismantle.

Arty definitely destroys OP´s, happen to me at Saint Mere Eglise twice today.

Bombing runs katys and arty doesnt kill ops. Maybe play with team icons and you would of seen a teammate taking that op. Im sure you can take the time to test it yourself. Disapointing see myths and false info in a youtube video.

Let me rephrase for you. "It's not the commander that is to be building garrisons. Squad leaders have to do so. Support players must drop the supplies for a reason. Teamwork makes the dream work." I mean yes, commander should also build them. But he has way more things to think about.

@@VFAHSN then let me rephrase your comment. "A terrible commander isn't thinking about putting down garrisons and only relying on SL's to do so." Everybody that has the ability needs to place garris when they're able, but a good commander will spend the first few minutes of the match placing fall back garris as well as trailing behind the advancing team to place more.

@@Twitchy-Idjit No, just any garrison more then 2 squares deep is considered "locked" and takes extra time to take down.

@@VFAHSN Shit rolls downhill If the commander isn't building garrisons don't expect SL's to build them. Commander has access to supplies every 2 mins and can spawn a truck every 2 mins. While a SL's only access to supps is a Support with a 5 min timer. Cut in half if they know to spawn near a manpower node when off cooldown.

​@@SoulSniperYT Just wanted to say a huge thanks too. Thanks to your vids I'm already getting some props for my Squad Leading on my second day of playing this game. On the games where there's a more experienced Squad Lead available I've taken it on myself to jump straight into the support role, starting a conversation about getting nodes down with an Engi and usually we already have ourselves reasonably organised before the warmup has even ended. Squad leads seem to be appreciating this because they already have the basics sorted for them and a dialogue is already established right from the start without them having to plead with their Squad Mates, and they can just focus on how we're taking space on the map.

Because of this attitude, whenever I'm SL I end up having to play "mini-commander" by constantly looking after garrison placement, as well as what's gone down or is lighting up to try to predict the enemy movements. Because most SLs are just along for the ride, and are there to lead their guys to attack the next point. The absolute worst are the SLs who walk right by supplies. Saw 4 SLs walk past supplies on last point with no other garrisons up, and people asking them to place a garry in the chat. Can't be bothered...

​​@@dogchaser520 When you have a match where all the Squad leads share this responsibility and comm efficiently between eachother.. and the other team is doing the same thing it makes for one of the best gaming experiences I've ever been a part of though. One of the best gaming experiences I've ever been a part of has been in this game now. The commander was experienced and set a constructive tone for the match, all the Squad leads also in turn led by example with their Squad Mates, everyone was doing absolutely everything in their power to maintain map awareness and map control, there was a satisfying flow to the battle, and to top it off our side despite spending the last 10 minutes thinking we might lose converted a contested stronghold on the map with literally a few seconds left on the clock.. everyone was trying anything they could to convert the point, and the vibe felt very much like we just appreciated what a great match it was win or lose. But yeah, those final few seconds and realising we had actually made it happen after 10 minutes of what felt like a stalemate on the point turned into such a hype moment with everyone losing their sh!t on the voice comms and in chat haha

I use DX11 because my PC doesn't seem to like DX12.

The quickest way to tell if by using the ping feature as it tells you the exact distance of the item you pinged. Outside of that or using the grid system of the map along with landmarks, it's basically eyeballing it, which is kinda difficult to do in a video game.

3 options. Support players carry 50 supplies, which is what it costs to build a garrison in the blue territory. Supply trucks (with the covered top) carry 2 boxes of 150 supplies each. You can drop a box and build a Garry with those supplies. Finally, the commander can air drop supplies anywhere on the map.

You need to be near a supply box or supply drop.

The commander can air drop supplies on the map, or you can run a supply truck from HQ and drop supply crates where you want them. You can also work with support role players who carry a supply box with 50 supplies to get them where you need. Garrisons cost 100 supplies in the red territory and 50 supplies in the blue territory.
