The Parade Is the republic day parade. Happens every 26th of jan on the republic day of india. All of the them are looking towards the left because president of india (Supreme commander of the armed forces) is sitting towards their left. The gun and the army hat you saw. is called the "Amar Jawan Jyot" Thats the memorial for all of the fallen soliders of the indian national army Jay Hind !

camels are used for desert regions because horses are not able to run on desert and camel are called the ship of the desert,they can run on desert without drinking water regularly they can store waters and their humps are usefull in letting them cool for a month or more...

The beginning mountains are siachin glaciers where our army stands day and night in minus 20 to -30 degree temperature securing the nation from chinese and pakistanis.

The troops @1:30 are known as PARA SF forces, they are specially trained forces, their identities are not revealed to the rest of the world, they are not even allowed to use social media, they undergo 90 day deadly training where they are tested both physically and mentally, out of 1000 army men who comes voluntarily to undergo that special training, only 10 are being selected annually, they are given MAROON BARRETTES and a BALIDAN (sacrifice) badge. They are highest forces more than NSG.

It is really awesome and is the pride of every Indian. The guys who were jogging with the MP5 rifle in their hands were from the Parachute Regiment of the Indian Special Forces. These are the best of the best men of the Indian Army. Their training and endurance is beyond imagination. (Look up for Earning the Badge on KZfaq. It a documentary on these men in the SF) A large part of the Indian border with Pakistan is desert land, and that's why the Border Security Force uses camels. All of them salute the President of India who is standing at the right side. Many people come to see this parade from all over India. Even I have seen it many times and it's absolutely magnificent. The real music which is played by the army bands is so much better than the one played here. The starting scene of mountains and snow is from the Siachen glacier. The highest and the coldest battle ground in the world. Indian Army defends that glacier from Pakistani and Chinese insurgents all year round. The elevation ranges from 16000-20000 feel above sea level, with temperatures dropping to 50 degree Celsius below 0. The T90 Bhishma tank (which you described as painted tanks 😄) is the premier battle tank of India and is designed and manufactured by good old friend Russia itself. This is the Republic day parade held every year on 26th January. They are looking at & saluting the President of India...Commander in chief of all the 3 branches of Indian defence. being an Indian i might answer few of your questions. This is a Republic Day Parade. The starting of the video in the mountains could be either Indo China or Indo Pakistan border, the temperature there is normally -10. We are the worlds largest Army, People in Blue are Air Force, in green are Land Army and in White is Navy. why Camel over horses because a part of India is desert and to guard it we need camels as they are the know as DESERT SHIPS the fast running thing in a desert and they can survive in extreme without water for 50 times longer than a horse. Hope i have answered few of your questions.

A Salute to the World's most disciplined Army. Jai Hind. Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

There are close to 35,000 security cordon off the area, and all buildings on the Raisina Hill are vacated a day before and Delhi Police personnel posted. Security officers in plain clothes are also placed strategically at important points all along the path of the parade. Sniffer dogs are also employed to sensitise the area.The day begins early for the marching contingents. each marching contingent contain 150 soldiers.They're up by 2 am and by 3 am, they're already at Rajpath. But the preparations had begun in July last year, when they were notified of taking part in the parade. Till August they practise their drill at their respective regimental centres before coming to Delhi back in December. By the time they are ready for the final event, they have already had 600 hours of hard drill practice. They repeat the same drill over and over, till it becomes muscle memory.It's a long parade. Everyday, during the practice and the full dress rehearsal, each contingent will march for 12 km. The final parade though is 9 km long. There are judges sitting all along the path, closely monitoring them on 200 parameters. There's a 'best marching contingent' award to be had. The pride of the unit is on the line, so while they get tired, they continue to march on for the entire course of the parade.Every single soldier that participates in the parade, has to go through four levels of security screening. They too go through strict scrutiny and every single weapon is checked to see that it is not carrying a live round before it reaches Rajpath...
