The first game was a total blast. It had action and puzzles, but what it specialized in was a fear factor.

Omg, y’all need to play the first game. It is gameplay with scripted moments and no hud. The first game looks like a cutscene and it did amazing. This is a whole new gaming generation which has the power to make amazing stylistic games like this. Stop commenting crap on a sequel game if you didn’t play the first one. 🤦♂️

@@Rafa-fv9fv Yes and no. There are a tons of puzzles in the first game, and "quicktime events" can be a lot of fast paced fighting. You ain't going to see the "the movie" if you are just constantly dying. Crank it to hard and you would be grinding.

@@Rafa-fv9fv Its a real game where you fight with a sword and run. But there are immersive cut scenes that are triggered. The flow of combat is unlike any other game I've played, and the audio is out of this world. Instead of bashing it, play the first one.

We already know ninja theory will deliver a solid game, they've done it with the first. Now with heilung doing the music, and the unreal 5 engine, this is a sure fire GOTY winner.

If this launches with VR support it will be a day one purchase for me. Beat the first one on flat screen then played it again when they added VR support, it was so immersive. Such a game changing experience in VR.

Its very impressive that this is actual gameplay, but it did a poor job in actually demonstrating it other than walking (which was like 80% of the first one). Hope to see innovations since this is a bigger sequel.

The cinematic assets, the smoothness of the transition almost seamless, the camera animations, the graphics... It already surpass everything we ever seen on the genre. They're reaching the limit of what's possible technically. Only VR could set a higher bar.
