If you mess up on a certain part and the auto save makes it so that you can not progress any further in the game, the game is broken. It's not a design that deleted my save it's the auto save literally stopping me from being able to play the game.

In Smoove's defence over the 30fps thing, there have been claims by developers in the past that some games were designed specifically for 30fps and raising it could fuck with the animations and cause technical issues, Dead Rising 3 is an example of that, that was their excuse for not raising the fps for the PC port. Was this a compromise initially to help it run on the Xbox One? Likely, but it is what it is. Baldur's Gate Enchaned Edition is another example, a re-release of a much older game, where the devs stated that they can't raise the framerate without doubling the game speed and that the game was designed to be 30fps with the animations and such. So yeah, it is a thing, it's rare and maybe it is just an excuse but we have been told this in the past, so he's not wrong here, at least not in regards to there being cases like this from the past, but yeah he's wrong if he's saying a game running on 60fps on PC and then 30 on the console is not a compromise, obviously it is.

There might be some engines designed for 30 fps in mind for sure but that's because the developers of those engines knew that the hardware they are designing the engine for isn't capable to do all the things they want at 60 fps they settle to 30 fps = compromise. No sane game developer would make 30 fps game just to have 30 fps it IS ALWAYS a compromise, even if the compromise has been made on engine development level. I can guarantee you all that even L.A. Noire was 30 fps because they knew that would never work at 60 fps on PS3 and Xbox 360 and they capped it to 30 on PC too because they made lip syncing work perfectly at 30 fps but in the end all because a compromise had to be made.

LawBreakers have very high skill ceiling and will not work on a console to the nature of control method alone, or at least PC player with keyboard and mouse would destroy the console guy. The point is the console version will not do justice for this game. The real problem with the LawBreakers is the lack of a proper tutorial to teach people how to actually play it. It has very complicated movement system and very few people actually know how to utilize all the options in zero gravity situations properly.
