Here is my 2 cents on the censorship Stellar Blade issue. I don't think it was Sony who censored the game. Every platform is going to have some form of code of conduct. I believe this is a marketing ploy by shift up. Shift up did this before when they released Nikke. The concept art, and game characters had sexier garments before release. Then when the game released they censored it a bit by making small changes. At this point I believe they are using the sexier marketing to draw people in, then when the game releases they clean it up to fit the platform's standards. The Sony's platform censorship probably doesn't apply to the marketing, this is why the devs said "This was always the design".

Nearly all censorship within the US comes from conservatives. Whether it be books, video games, music, tv and movies. Nearly all media in the US is owned by conservatives. Nearly all journalists who are liberal (including gaming) are writing for conservative outlets that require their conservative spin. (What Smoove clearly doesn’t understand is that he hates CNN because of their takes on real news and gaming, but they are run by conservatives as well!) Nearly every single game that people play was developed by liberals, including their favorites. It is wild that Bond and Smoove want to pretend that this isn’t the reality.

Even though the main draw of Stellar Blade is its sex appeal, Stellar Blade is ultimately still a game and there are many different aspects of a game. As crucial as the fan service is to its popularity, it’s possible the relevancy of the game would’ve been much lower still if the game wasn’t well received. I’m with BG regarding the Stellar Blade topic.

Honestly, its probably for the best to be neutral or even avoid culture war-related discussions as it is futile to try to partake in them.
